An update: Thomas is on travel. He's headed to facility #2, in fact, as we talked about in one of the rounds (I forget which one, there's a lot of Rounds  Cheesy ).

The payment processor is still down. We're actually switching some things over to a different payment processor and cart software. So: sorry, orders will be down for a little while longer. There's *still* major site redesign work to be undertaken shortly as well.

BTW and FWIW: the odds are good that one or more X-3s will still be bought by the DZ MC before shipping.

==

Fun fact I found out last night: On BTCGuild at least: Team DZ has more active hashrate than Poland and the Russian Federation.  Shocked

https://www.btcguild.com/index.php?page=rankings§ion=teams

I wasn't even aware of this until recently and none of the co-op leaders pointed this out to me, because they're not big on tooting their horns. Even funnier: Most of our ordered hashrate hasn't even arrived yet if you subtract the running total in my sig from what you see here, and we are already competing with entire nations and the ASIC mfgs. themselves when it comes to providing mining hashrate for the Bitcoin network.

Here's hoping y'all get another machine or two.  I was planning on buying some shares, but the payment system was down, and now it's closed.  Alas.

Thomas,

Can you give me an update please.. status is closed/sold out. Is this including the 2nd delivery in march too?  I though orders were still being taken for that date.

Are we going to mine Namecoins in parallel with Bitcoins?
Yep we do merged mining, they get converted to BTC and paid out every few payout periods when we accumulate enough.

1393 is the last order on February, there is one earlier order in the March date but that is a late payment.

I'm 1394... When I ordered on the website it said I was purchasing February batch.

So are you saying my order was actually part of the March batch?
Yes at that time the website said February if available.

I'm just curious if there's a way to know which "BA order #" you have from your Minersource order #?  I read earlier that minersource may be able to deliver faster through pre-clearance with customs.
Seeing our host is technically the same as minersource they get delivered to the same location, our orders are the first of the shipments.

Due to a problem with our Bitcoin payment processor checkout has been disabled until further notice.
^^top of web page.

I think this may be the reason you are having an issue.

I see that now.  Thanks.  Will await it's fix, or instructions on how to send payment.  Cheers.

Hi there,

I've been reading up on this Group Buy, and would like to get involved.  A couple newb questions:

- If I sign up now, is this still the March 9th ETA?
- On your site, it says there's no payment option available for me.  How do I send payment?

Thanks for being legit!

Does that mean we won't start hashing until likely June  for batch 1 orders ?
No,
R17-1 will should begin at the end of February in the first shipment
R17-2 will should begin around March 10th when the second shipment comes in

They reference any order placed on January 1st to present will begin then.

Black Arrow LTD:

Could we please have an engineering update on the progress of the Minion ASIC? Thank you for your time.

From BA:

" Dear Customers,

We have some updates:

The Minion:

We have our final specs for the Minion. Based on our library (we can only simulate the TT corner which is 0.85v @ 25C) and the power consumption is 0.6-0.65W/Ghash. We trust that underclocked and underpowered the Minion will achieve under 0.5W/ghash as promised.

This is not as good as our first simulations which were based only on Front End but this is where we need to stop. The time does not allow us to continue our effort towards seeking a lower power consumption.

We had to drop the frequency from 1.5Ghz to 1.0Ghz in order to achieve this efficiency. However we've increased the number of cores so the Minion will hash at the speed promised.

We had met all the timings for 1.5Ghz but the efficiency was 0.8W/Ghash and this is not something we could have accepted.

The minion driver:

We have also published the minion driver and we're happy to announce that it is steadily mining into cgminer. We've made the driver open source:

https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/blob/master/driver-minion.c

Batch 1 closed:

We have closed batch 1. All orders paid in 2014 will be shipped around 1st of May. "

Order #1380 was an older purchase with no mention of a March Start Date.

Could someone please confirm that there is proposed Feb start Date and a proposed March date with a note to confirm the actual cut off date that was actioned between the two?

Thanks.

Hello Again & Happy New Year.

I do not want to become a pain in someones backside, but I feel kind of invisible/awkward at the moment having asked this question before both here and direct via the support email without a response.

I just need confirmation on my order #1380, 6 shares, and the start date, can somebody help me?

Thanks.
This confusion will continue till the new website design is complete. At this time DZMC does not have an automated system to keep track of GBs, orders, dates and payment addresses. Once the website/tracking system is complete we (users) should be able to check it.

What I don't understand is why Thomas_s is not using a google docs table similar for payouts but for orders. In my opinion their google docs tables are awesome and I check it about 17 times a day even numbers don't change there all that often Smiley.
Because the file gets changed a decent amount of times, also there are people in our GB's that want to stay anon, in order for me to change addresses the way I do it now I need more info than just a payout address.

The first R17 should be up soon as we almost have all the addresses.

As for which date people have, if you purchased with the February date posted and didn't get a note saying (March) you are in February. If you purchased when it said March your in March unless someone bails out of the February.

1393 is the last order on February, there is one earlier order in the March date but that is a late payment.
