CEX.IO Maintains its Leadership in Cloud Mining

Maintenance Fee Reduction With Immediate Effect.

From $0.18 per GHS per month to $0.105. Nearly 50% reduction.

New mining hardware supply contracts signed.

Quote from Jeffrey Smith CIO:

“We are now facing tough conditions when the increasing difficulty and the low Bitcoin price have made cloud mining less profitable. However, as initial ideologists of cloud mining and Bitcoin adherents, we believe mining is crucial for confirming transactions, and the Bitcoin exchange rate can rise at any moment. Meanwhile, we overtake all the expenses for lowering maintenance cost for the cloud-based GHS up to the moment the new hardware is shipped to the doors of our data centres.”

I'm confused. Why all the talk about negatives balances? This isn't the Cex.io thread. This is for Ghash.io which is a pool and certainly they don't charge maintenance fees that cause your balance to become negative. Cex.io is cloudmining, so this topic should be discussed in "Service Discussions".

wow bro your comment is a LOT far fetched dont you think, do you even use Cex.io and ghash.io?

Tell me something, if you want to see where your coin balances are where do you go???..... thats right you go to cex.io and click finances.

If you order cloud on cex.io where does it mine ? Ghash.io, can you point your cloud to any other pool? No you can not.

If you are mining script multi pool and you want to check to see all the coins you have accumulated where do you go to check that./.... thats right Cex.io

If you point your own equipment to Ghash.io where do you check to see the coins you have collected.... thats right Cex.io

are you catching my drift yet there bro... thay are 2 different sites yet one in the same. the sites are entangled together to confuse noobs like you into thinking your not getting ripped off. they want to make it as complicated as possible to compare your earning with your balances. they like to throw as many numbers at you as possible so you hopefully wont catch on that your getting screwed and paid half your rewards.

Ghash.io is to Cex.io as white is to rice Smiley

All,

We have had a very busy period here at CEX.IO / GHash.IO.

First up we were Platinum Sponsor's at Inside Bitcoins London http://insidebitcoins.co.uk/

We had a very busy exhibition stand there https://twitter.com/cex_io/status/511543909982670848

Jeffrey Smith our CIO participated in an open discussion titled Industrial Mining: Powered Warehouse Shell vs. Hosted Cloud Offerings http://insidebitcoins.co.uk/london2014/agenda/#p1274

We made a significant Bitcoin Ecosystem announcement, an internally developed open API for building bitcoin applications - plugchain http://www.coindesk.com/cex-io-joins-bitcoin-api-race-launch-plugchain/

yes been very busy ripping off your members. paying half of the reward for their equipment, paying less than 28% of the reward on tie cloud mining we have on your site, then not just solving and ignoring a ticket but removing it completely because the member has issued a NOT SATISFIED review on the ticket.

its nice to see the member paid for such a nice exhibit for you to go to an expo.

I often wonder how theives sleep at night. its ok tho, your ignorance has stripped you from your power position, you no longer are even close to a 51% attack.

Keep it up Ghash, keep it up and soon all your members will leave you forever!!!!

I mostly see Alt being mined and maintenance being taken in BTC.

So the value of the Alt coins are a lot less than BTC and eat what profit there should be.

Trading from Alt to BTC does not make up for the loss in BTC in comparison to the fees to be paid for maintenance.

Some days my balance also goes negative and stays there.  Angry

anyone after 24h of mining on ghash/cex  have a negative balance?!

support tell me is all right and lot off links to keep me busy ready

The maintenance fees increased as BTC price is dropping a lot. Also, bad luck of the pool can affect your earnings and result in more maintenance fees being charged as more shares is required for the block and the payouts will be lower so your earnings will be negative.

Well last night after about 12 hours of mining and today about 15 hours i went from .0005 down to .0001.. Now that's just sad mining to loose btc.. Yep that's Cex for ya.

Yes i know there is maintenance fee/etc but you would think after 24 hours of mining the balance would at least go up..?

Is anyone else having trouble logging in?

Try deleting cookies from the domain cex.io For the few times that I had problems this helped. A simple extension for cookie deletion should help you do that.

Is anyone else having trouble logging in?

I eventually am able to log in but I've had to go through three to four captcha challenges before I could do so; then I get challenged again each time I refresh my stats.  It's a major pain in the tuchas.  I never had to deal with this chit until a couple of weeks ago.

I guess CEX/GHash has been too busy socializing and expanding their business that they have neglected the maintenance of the usability

If you have 2F authentication once authenticated you should not be getting multiple captchas on refresh etc. The only time you would be requested for auth again would be if you made a withdrawal request for example. So what you are experiencing is not normal. Please contact support so they can help you with the access issue.

I grew tired of sending emails to support on many occasions without getting replies.

That's well and good but what have they got to do with fixing your site so that we could have a more pleasant user experience?
