Brass is imo not the way to go. Sure it's cheap but Denarium has carried the torch from the original physical coins since 2013. This should be a luxury purchase and with that luxury precious metals should be the only thing you mint. The gold parity coin is beautiful and many will cherish this for decades.

All I'm saying is don't cheapen your brand, you know this is not a need based purchase... it should be a symbol of achievement for collectors. Platinum and White gold would be great to commemorate when BTC breaks 10k usd.

As a loyal customer hopefully you take into consideration my words. If you want to mass produce cheap physical coins create a sister company and new name and market them to the masses. Keep Denarium name in the luxury zone.

The silver coin we're launching this year does not contain a denomination by the way. It simply has a Bitcoin logo and the silver oz marking.

Awesome! I really think you'll sell a bunch. To me putting a whole Bitcoin on 1 oz of Silver seems like overkill at current prices.

Will take this into consideration as well! The new gold coin we're launching soon is a 0.5 half ounce gold coin. It's a step in that direction at least.

and what about a 0.1 gold coin? instead of 1 ounce, you can also consider 1/4 ounce. Precious metals a must..better anyday than brass IMO

Great suggestion. I think we'll consider doing a .1 silver coin in early 2018.

Same here..with the current BTC valuation being so high and with the expected future prices going higher, lower btc loaded coins in silver or gold would be nice.

I would love to see a .1 BTC 1 Troy Oz. Silver Coin. I would definitely buy that. I personally am not interested in anything but Silver or Gold. I wasn't a big fan of the Bull design.

We will likely start doing that. For a long time we had the problem of relying on 1 mint which is not even producing coins primarily but other metal items. And their other business is big and doing quite well so our orders are not high priority. Now we are making new coins with 2 new mints that are both professional coin makers. This allows us to make new type of coins much faster.

Great news about the new 2018 brass series. I will probably get some.

I think that in the long run, these brass coins will be the most interesting for collectors. You should launch ones with new themes every year.

Nice news about the upcoming releases and I'll be looking forward to em!  Also wanted to add the animal theme was a good choice in my eyes, I'm glad to hear you're continuing it.   

The 2018 golden brass will have a new design. We'll probably continue with the animal theme though. Not sure if the Bitcoin logo coin will be different or not, but we'll surely continue to produce that one as well.

Not 100 % sure if we'll produce only the golden brass or regular brass as well. I think we'll likely produce only the golden brass since they are simply so much better. They are super shiny and the surface stays shiny even if touched with bare hands later on which is a big plus. The brass ones need to be in the capsule all the time to stay in good shape. And the price difference is not that big.

2018 Golden brass will be a new design, or the 2015 design updated with 2018 year change? And will you produce new Brass cheap coins or these 2018 series will be only gold plated? Thanks.

Hello everyone! I think it's time for an update. We've been a bit quiet recently.

First of all we've seen a massive increase in sales in the last 4 months or so. Even though we are not really marketing at all, sales have increased tremendously. This is problematic for us since we don't have enough coins to sell.

However, this will soon be fixed. We are coming up with many new coins in the near future.

- We are producing right now a batch #3 of the gold coins since our batch #2 is now almost sold out. Batch #3 is approximately 60 coins and it may be the final batch. This time we'll fix the text alignment on the backside so these coins will be slightly different. In stock in approximately 1 month.

- We have a half ounce gold coin in the works from a different mint. It has bitcoin logo and 1/2 bitcoin marking. First batch will be 50 coins. In stock in approximately 1 month.

- A new 1 ounce silver coin is coming with a Bitcoin logo. This is again from a different mint. First batch is 500 coins. In stock in approximately 1 month.

- Limited edition patinated bronze coin with the bull logo is in the works as well. From our old mint. The limited edition series is 500 coins. In stock in approximately 2 months.

- Additionally we will next year replace our affordable golden brass series with new 2018 coins. Those coins will be launched in 2018.

So, lots of new coins coming up from Denarium. I'll post pictures when I have them. Also, it is likely that we will auction some number of coins from the new series. With the special A serials of course.

they do release new coins every year. The bull design last year and gold parity this year. (only 3 left on their website currently)
