what cloudmining company would you recommend for a newbie ready to try the waters with a several hundred $ Huh Wink

For an starter I suggest you to not put all your eggs on the same basket or you could end on a mess

There are a lot of scams (ponzi schemes) so diversifiying is a good way to reduce your risk

Some sites only allow you to buy with BTC, so if you only have U$D you could buy BTC first and with them buy cloud computing power or if you can't buy BTC restrict your purchases to sites that allow you to buy with U$D

I suggest to put the biggest part on zenhashlets, they could be buyed with U$D at http://www.gawminers.com/

Other part on Genesis Mining https://www.genesis-mining.com If you buy them please use this referral code, will give you a 2,5% discount and some points to me  Code --> ZlkLqa

LTC Gear is also a good option http://ltcgear.com?apage=1201

And hash Profit has also a good ROI (Many people don't like them but until now I have great experience) --> https://hashprofit.com/en/registration/?hp=17300

ye i read it is fast roi, but everything seems out of stock there.. ;]] like all time.. ;]
and the only thing that sometimes is not out of stock costs like 1k$ , so it is a bit too much for a newbie.
btw why their website looks so amateur... but what could i know why is that...
anyway i found some official/unofficial (i dont know) reseller at ipominer hashx for smaller investments in ltcgear but i am not buying anything from them until they integrate it in their website and out of beta. as of now they sell by communicating by email.. thats not good enough Smiley

Here are my latest updates about Hashprofit

Hash Profit becomes Golden Partner of St Petesburg Bitcoin Conference

They developed their own Altcoin based on one of the most moderns ASIC resistant protocols (X13) - ProfitCoin which is backed by their mining power (You could buy 1PFC=1K/hs)

If you want more information about  PFC https://hashprofit.com/en/profitcoin/

LTCgear definetly the best at the moment.

I have been with GAW (290 primes), still have 437Mhash at Zeushash but the best Investment I have ever done is LTCgear by far.

I totally agree LTC is the only company I have managed to ROI with, I am also with GAW and have nearly 500 MHs with them but their vision and direction has now changed to mining Hashpoints to convert to a new coin that is in development via an ICO it's all up in the air now!

I am trying out Cloud Mining Website at the moment. They are offering 0.001 BTC/GHS, probably the lowest in the industry. Will let all of u know how it turns out.

Today I bring you a different kind of information, most useful in my humble opinion, is the cost-benefit analysis and prediction of return on investment (ROI) of Hash Profit.
To do this I calculated the average daily performance of each Kh ignoring the days when I bought more kh as measured in those days did not produce 24 Hs.

Then based on that average I calculated weekly production with 200 Kh, I subtracted the output of the free week and calculated the number of weeks required to reach ROI.

Conclusion [/ b]
I took a ROI in 30 weeks
Notably, the production remains relatively stable Kh unlike BTC mining where dificulty jumps makes it fall significantly.

I'd just like to add to this thread with Hashie. We're a new cloud mining service, and we're selling Bitcoin (SHA256) miners from $4.51 per GH. That's some of the lowest rates in the industry.

-Sahra

I think you missed something there.  It's $4.51 per 10 GH/s.  Otherwise... at $4.51 per 1 GH/s would be a terrible rate.

So I can buy the equivalent of an Antminer S1 (180GH/s) for $81.18?

How is this a good deal?

That is right. If you chose wisely and purchase contract from any REPUTABLE company you should be fine. Differences between top dogs are maybe not so great but I will stick with zenpool here. Maybe I will test LTC in the future...

try gaw (hashlets), or zeush hash

I'm in gaw (zenminer)

I am also with GAW and I never had any problems with them. If you want solid mining experience GAW is for you.

GAWMiners was for you when Hashlets first went on sale for $16, now, not so much. ZeusHash returns are only about 5% per week. Clear winner is Litecoin GEAR at this time. Every few days some one claims Litecoin GEAR has to be a Ponzi scheme or some sort of scam, if you read this thread at the Litecoin Forum you can see proof that Litecoin GEAR owns substantial mining power.
There are people who claim bitcoin is a ponzi. Most of them simply don't have anything constructive to say and prefer to write hate posts and FUD.

I just received my 4th payout yesterday from LTCgear I was very hesitant to push the button at first as their website seems really basic and they don't really look very professional or give off the impression of being a big and trustworthy company, anyway I decided to take the risk 4 weeks ago and purchased a 1X6K qASIC Anniversary package, using a "coupon code" which gave me a 49% discount and an extra 8% off when paying by BTC.

I must say that since buying my first package I have not looked back and Chris has answered every support query I have requested with a really quick response time. If you want to learn more about LTCgear I have written a review about them (See the link in my Signature) but with any mining investment, make sure you look into it all properly before jumping in too quickly.

I agree the LTCgear has been paying out great.   My major concern being that it seems to be a one man show.

When investing in cloud mining be wary of scams. Buy only from known companies, that are represented by people with real addresses and phone numbers.
People who aren't afraid to go public or show pictures of their hardware.
Don't send your money to a random site situated "somewhere in Eastern Europe", unless you're prepared to hire a private investigator if something goes wrong.

It was easy to scam people on preorders, it's even easier on fake mining shares.
Even known companies can potentially scam you, especially a long time into your cloud contract. I would say it is probably best to only deal with well established cloud mining companies if you do choose to invest. They will have an incentive not to scam as they have an ongoing revenue stream of new sales. You also want to invest in a cloud mining company that is large enough so that their pool is able to show up on most pool monitoring sites (that monitor the percentage of the hashrate of various pools) as this is really the only way to "prove" that a cloud mining compnay actually has the hashpower they claim to.

I would say that any cloud mining company that is operating on a pre-order basis is almost certainly going to be scamming you.
