I bought all 6 boards, other bidder resigned.

I fixed boards by flashing them with HashVoodoo bitstream.
My results so far:
4 boards running 827, 835, 840, 840 MH/s (that's because bfgminer limit 210 MHz per chip, I will increase it later with cgminer)
1 board running 622 MH/s - 202MHz, 210 MHz, 210 MHz, OFF (one FPGA chip is dead)
1 board running 620 MH/s - 200MHz, 210 MHz, 210 MHz, OFF (one FPGA chip is dead)

Entropy-uc estimated it as:
Quote
Two of the boards kick out 50% hardware errors, resulting in an effective hashrate of ~400 MH/s
3 boards have one pair operating below standard for hash rates ~600 MH/s
1 board was programmed with 170 MH/s bitstreams, so it is running at ~680 MH/s
That's 400+400+600+600+600+680 = ~3280
I already have ~4564 (no less than that).

I am very happy with the results. Thank you again Entropy-uc! Smiley

Sounds good. I hope you get your investment back. It could be hard.

I am very glad for you that this worked out so well!  It's fascinating that the boards work so much better with HashVoodoo.

I am interested - but is there a guide for step by step setup ? If yes, I will place a bid.

Yes, I have been sending out a guide to getting started.

Will the buyer of the 2 broken fpgas get the bill so that he can contact enterpoint to get a replacement? Will it be possible for a new owner anyway?

You would have to talk with Enterpoint about that.  The serial numbers will make it 100% certain to them where the boards came from.

Thanks for the answer. 40watt doesnt sound bad. I wonder is this really for the quad-version? I mean these are 4 fpgas in one right?

How can such transaction be made securely? I worked with john as an escrow together already but when will he release the btc? Is it when the buyer has the fpgas in his hands? That would mean a risk to the seller because the buyer could claim he didnt get it or something. So how will this work securely for both sides?

I ship with tracking.

45 W is my typical result.

The highest bidder gets the best board, and I work my way down the chain from there.  18 hours left.

It should be 40W per board not sure if the low hash rate means lower power consumption but anyways this is nothing compared to gpu rig. I you want to bid for fastest you need to offer highest bid per board since they will be sold in highest bid gets highest hash rate fashion.
