This is nice, it makes it easy to locate and make a quick choice on which to invest in and their various historical performance. One has to becareful because of the too many hyips surrounding DEFI, many are now using Uniswap to scam by pulling off liquidity after some initial investors cofidence.
Wow! That is a great feature added, I heard about compound last month it pump I didn't even know it was defi until now. I observed most of the defi projects are running on ethereum network, it will be affected if ethereum network is clogged like now, we have a minimum of 100 gwei for a fast transaction which cost a lot for token transactions I guess it will cost morethan $1 or more. Do we have any defi project that has its own blockhain?

There are some hybrid kind of crypto banking, wallet, exchange and lending kind of projects which can fall in defi category but somehow they are not considered defi may be because they are not completely blockchain based so i think in future they should also consider adding crypto finance category that include all type of finance related projects both centralized and decentralized.
Thank you for sharing this list, you can also check out https://defipulse.com/defi-list/ They give a lot of information surrounding DEFI and although at the moment DEFI is primarily surrounded with yield farming opportunities and lending, in the future there will be so more things integrated into what we call the whole DEFI demography. One reason I am investing in CARDANO is that they will bring DEFI to a new level through on boarding millions of Unbanked people through their plans to conquer the raw and fresh new Population who are new to Finance but don't have access to it in the traditional fiscal market.
Be careful about Compound, I am not saying that it is a scam or a bad project for the long term, but according to studies, the price is now more than 6 time overvalued! People took loans and borrowed money in the hype and around 70% of all loans are not natural - they are fake.
Chainlink is a DeFi project? This I didn´t know, I thought that it is mainly focused on Oracles and interconnecting the blockchain with the real world. It is true that I do not own it, so I do not know a lot about it... But ChainLink is one of the coin, that grew a lot for a short time and a lot of us missed the opportunity here.

CMC Still remain the best at what they do, with this list It will be very easy for people who have interest in checking and knowing more about DeFi project and they can easily pick anyone they feel like investing in.

I think CMC had bring more hype to this Defi even more, just imagine you wanted to invest and be part of this new revolution and you are looking for the first place to start, then CMC will offer this for you. And you will not fall for scam attempts as the legit sites are already link in the description if you take a closer look. So I would say that this is a good attempt by CZ.
Everyone trying to ride the DEFI hype, its a good thing Coinmarketcap added a portal to check DEFI tokens by market cap. But then, LINK topping the list is arguably manipulated, I don't know how true. I thought COMP was top on defimarket ranking, this space is dynamic anyway.

Those DeFi projects could be new "ICO fever" because people made a lot of money investing in those projects but when they start dumping it will be bloodbath. I'm not saying that all DeFi projects will fail, but I'm pretty sure that some of them will. Just like with ICOs - some of ICO projects are still alive but a lot of them turn out to be scam to collect money from ICO investors.
I am with you there, the defi trend is growing at the moment. I do think that defi might be a thing in the future but currently there is alot of speculation and a bit fomo in the defi projects market.
DeFi will definitely be a thing in the future. Just like some ICO projects still exist and are successful. But people should be careful when investing, especially in staking coins. There are some that promise to bring high percentage which is unsustainable in the long run. Result will be that project fails or it's price never goes up because of high inflation (due to a lot of new coins generated from staking).
Defi is the main trend this year. I believe we will continue to see many more Defi projects appear in the near future. Look for new projects and invest in it, I believe that profits will quickly come to us
There may be some missing but as long as they've provided a list of those DeFi tokens, that's a good feature added by them for everyone to see what are these DeFi tokens. I'm very familiar with some at the top list but the rest, I don't have any idea with them.

From all of them I invested in only in ChainLink, few months ago. Now my investment is already profitable, but I plan to add
more, I am just thinking will we see a drop, to wait for that, or to invest now before the next rise?
I will check some other interesting DeFi projects, this hype around DeFi project is just a start of something big, I don't think

That's a good list from cmc, though I didn't even know DeFi Tokens are really much in numbers like that. I have really learnt from that. I so much believe the Oikos will move up the rank very soon.
Thanks for sharing this. I wasn't aware with that part of CMC. I have read and scene projects about DeFi and I agree with this new "hype" you are talking about.
I believe he is just making the right decisions with these types of markets. He is smart in making those decisions in acquiring different markets and conquering the exchange scene overall. With the steps that he made, he is definitely going to be powerful and he already is the best IMO. Let's see what would be the next move that he will make.

Yes, it really seems that a lot of money are being thrown out to this whole new Defi thingy that you have to think about if it's really worth it or are there are big scare because on how crypto investors are falling for it.
And now that we heard that criminals are coming after them and if you don't know how to protect your assets here, it's just a matter of time before that we will heard reports of individual hacks.
As fas as cmc displaying it, why not, we need just some precautions.
