A coin isn't dead just because on one small exchange not enough trade volume was being provided... By no means is that exchange alone the measure that determines the value of CNC.

Exactly, just people picking up coins cheap.  Remember 10,000 BTC for 2 pizzas.  Who would have thought it would be 120 USD per BTC.  Not saying CNC is BTC but the same principle applies.  Too early to call the game.

many miners prefer to keep cnc instead selling. easy mining soon will be finished and then price can go up very strong. market depth is very small and price will be jumping. soon it will be on other exchanges, market depth will be much bigger and price will be more stable, probably going up. imo it's buy time.

Is there anywhere a "longterm" chart for CHNC? Or just a bit more than that on bter.
It's the only exchange trading it, so their chart is the chart for cnc, for now.

I dunno but nobody seems to be buying at BTEr anymore, almost all orders are filled :')

Looks to me it crashed pretty damn hard.
FTC value when being traded for two days on the first exchange that listed it was far less than the current value for cnc

Yeah, good sign is that there are no big sell orders though some bigger buy ones were filled earlier. It still doesn't look good, bter is joke of exchange and this drop is their guilt.

Bloody alts  Grin this is the second time I decided to invest lot for my standards and second time something stupid happens day after. First time it was TRC who got broken, now this.

Why the f*** I haven't sold at 0.0025, hopefully it will recover but I'd save some nerves.

I bought FTC at 0.00138

I sold it for 0.004 and I was even late to the party.

Go figure.

The death of CNC was horrible, in less than a half of an hour went from 0.0025 to 0.0008

Price can be bumped up to 0.002 with about 5 BTC. Just goes to show how easily bter is emptied by one big hand.

Any sign when other exchanges are going to adopt it? It's pretty easy for people to manipulate the price with it only on bter

Too late... better hope that someone else picks it up or the boat has passed in the last 24 hours

EDIT: Wait, what about the guy offering 9564 CNC? surely he really doesn't want to sell for that price!

Aha, that makes sense. I swear, this board will make me a day trading expert when all is said and done

Price collapsed..

nah just look at the quantity sold.... ppl trying to make panic and make profit when it go up a lot

also there is no big sold offer and panic is needed to get 30-50K cheap!

Could you explain? To make the price go down, one just has to make lots of incredibly low priced CNC sell orders, right? What does the quantity have to do with it?
He means that people are making small sell orders to drop the price to see if people with big amounts of coin panic and sell, which has not happened because the transactions are for small values.
