This is what I am saying. Bitcoin is not the only thing being popular these days but there is also the technology behind it. I am talking about this to my friend and all they know is what bitcoin can do in the future, they don't think that the Blockchain technology will be relevant in those days. That is why I told them that the Blockchain might survive longer than bitcoin. This is just the start, and I know a lot more companies will be using this technology in the future.

Nice read, basically their blockchain is just a centralized database managed by a separate entity that connects multiple companies that don't want to expose all their data to each other, so they need some middleman to manage that. This system has almost nothing in common with Bitcoin, yet noobs still cheer for it, because they think blockchain = Bitcoin.
