Why not keep the flavour and swallow something alkali such as tooth paste after brushing teeth. Will keep up the alkali in your stomach after drinking coca cola. It probably isn't above a pH of 9 so won't be too harmful to your ~ pH 3/2 stomach.

EDIT: After Research, your stomach is a pH of 0.

Wrong. This is how you misunderstand pretty much everything in life if you listen to the mass media. Meat does not cause cancer; humans have been eating it for ages. Depends if you have diabetes then its not. However if you are healty, and want to drink 1 times /week then I dont see anything bad with that.

Aspartame is only found in diet drinks (mainly), t is an artificial sweatner and I don't think the full version shouldn't need it with it's already high 15g of sugar to 100g beverage. According to its label.
