Exactly. Besides, it depends on the culture you're in and there are countries that was living on it for over centuries. If it's about the money and the fame you'll get, people would really ignore empathy over these animals. I'd rather see it on animals rather than those people fighting to death because it is sickening.

Right, it reminds me an occasion I saw someone to brutally kill a roaster. The owner of the animal had taken it back from the small coliseum where cockfighting takes place. It seems that he had lost an important amount of money because his animal chose to escape the battle ground instead continue to fight.

I recall the man grabbed the roaster at its neck and started to spin its body in the air, to strangle it. It was horrible and it is one of the things I do not expect to ever forgive; it is basically the dark side of sports where animals partake, in the end there will be always animal torture unnecessary suffering. One could argue that the whole gambling industry/ porn industry also produce suffering (a different kind), but the difference is we have power on whether we want to participate; those animals never were asked if they wanted to fight to death.

I agree with you. This shouldn't even be discussed here. I know that forum doesn't moderate these threads, but more people should show some ethics and decide to criticize OP and people who advise him how to bet on this blood sport.
Most of us applaud when people who organize dog fights get arrested, but when it comes to roosters it's suddenly more OK, because they seem dumber and don't show as much that they're in pain. If one of them dies in that fight you can always make a soup and nothing will go to waste, am I right?

The only reason why the activity is legalized is because they wanna regulate it too.

There should be someone out there a fan of cockfighting to develop a casino for crypto. He just needs to partner up with those existing cockfighting platforms and he is good to making a living. Vietnam has a huge population of crypto users AFAIK, I've seen Netflix series where the casts are using ETH to make transactions. Even just dominating this cockfighting website in one country, he will definitely make a lot of money and the government is not hunting these websites to the grave.

I think it's close to zero casinos or betting sites that support crypto that do this, western casino owners or most online casino/betting owners really don't want animal cruelty based bloodsport in their sites because it's bad PR for them which is kind of ironic as there are some that offers horse race bet, dog race bet and even MMA bets which are literally cruelty against animals (humans are technically animals). I guess not a lot don't want the fun of cockfighting and the adrenaline pump when you're in the games or watching it.

In comparison, Bullfighting is even more cruel to animals than Cockfighting is. Because at least when comes to cockfighting both animals are supposed to face one of their own species in a fight and in likely equal conditions, in bullfighting the bull is even hurt before facing the Torero and when it gets tired enough and agonizing then it is supposed to get sliced with knife. It is basically animal torture.

I have never bet in cockfighting, I have people in my family who does, though. And sometimes the owner of the gallera even offer prices for the winner of a fight, like half cow in beef, for example.
