Any chance you could add Fedoracoin to the list?  --> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.4082336 & http://fedoraco.in
Coinedup.com added it an hour or two ago.          --> https://coinedup.com/OrderBook?market=TIPS&base=BTC
Fedoracoin bitcointalk forum thread                       --> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.4082336

**I would ask the crew from the fedora forums and reddits to vote here, but I'm guessing you don't wanna get spammed with alt-coin votes here Smiley

Gliss explained this on his Twitter feed: "Coins with stale data (more than 6 hours old) will now be listed at the bottom of the rankings instead of being de-listed."
link: https://twitter.com/CoinMKTCap

Sorry if this has been asked already, but why are Spots and JunkCoin at the bottom now with question marks instead of $$ values?

From CoinMarketCap.com twitter:

Q: "Why did you remove the Nextcoin from the list?"
A: "looks like DGEX API is down, it'll return when it's back up"
link: https://twitter.com/CoinMKTCap

Why did remove nxt again?

Please, distinguish 'new generation' coins, such as Nxt, Mastercoin [MSC] and Ripple, from the classic ones. I think they should be added to another list, or maybe just marked as 'pyramid' 'new gen' currency. They work in a rather different way, cannot be mined and more centralized than bitcoin-similar currencies. That is wrong to mix those two types together, they are two different, and their properties and purposes differs.

I will feature CoinMarketCap.com in all mobile apps listed on Google-Play soon...  https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=CIS+Solutions

Crypto Dev's/Marketers... Contact me to discuss getting your coin it's own information resource app... My schedule is pretty tight this year as 2013 is ending... but I have some available slots for a couple crypto coins I will support mobile development for, using my existing platforms.

I invite crypto currency dev's listed on Coinmarketcap.com to check out my current apps, and pm me if you would like one developed for your crypto currency.

Keep up the good work, CoinMarketcap !!

I really like the idea of being able to sort the coins by monthly volume in USD/BTC.

I think Ripple, Mastercoin, NXT being on the list is a good thing and makes it more apparent that it is possible for coins other than Bitcoin and Litecoin to achieve large market caps. I guess only time will tell if the market feels the same way about it as I do.

1. Fear (Usually old Bitcoiners. Scared of the disruptive nature of the powerful Ripple network - which actually looks to compliment Bitcoin with INSTANT transactions).
What is the disruptive nature of Ripple?!?

The only disruption it has in total was derailing this thread.

So from months of observations, I have come up with two categories for Ripple haters.

1. Fear (Usually old Bitcoiners. Scared of the disruptive nature of the powerful Ripple network - which actually looks to compliment Bitcoin with INSTANT transactions).

2. Laymen (Usually new-ish members. Believe the fearing individuals and have no idea what Ripple actually is. These people will likely say Ripple is centralized (untrue), closed source (untrue) or a premine (this isn't BTC! Again, you have missed the point).

Everyone just switch over to http://www.cryptmarketcap.com/

Wow, that site has come a long way on the layout!  Very nice.

I hate to say this Gliss, you're my go-to for coin prices but with this Nxt and Ripple shit littering your top 5, I'm going to have to seek an alternative.
