I really have to say...that advertisement between position 20 and 21 really kind of ruins the whole website. If you want to make a few bucks with ad impressions, use skyscrapers on the side...never split a website in such an ugly way.
Ah btw, Noirbits is dead since the day you put it up. Argentum too. Colossuscoin was dead weeks before you put it up a couple of days ago...
The site is consistently loosing in quality...and with that traffic increase it should be the other way around.
Just my two cents

How is Argentum dead? Its a long term investment

By checking Tx/day, Volume, search trends etc...Argentum seems to come right after Colossuscoin, people seem to be interested in the more innovative ones (also the name, it's terrible). Anyway, I meant that it's dead on coinmarketcap, the stats are not updating for Argentum

Truly decentralized stable asset
Hey!  I have an idea!  How about giving us an option to disable the graphs on the right?  It would mean letting us display a ton more data!

Nextcoin added!
Thank you, but Nextcoin is not the official name of the coin. It is just Nxt. Could you please correct that? Please consult the original post where it was announced, the creator BCNext never intended it to be called nextcoin:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-nxt-descendant-of-bitcoin-303898
and the poll where it was voted that the name shout be Nxt (not Next):
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/name-for-nxt-340157
It is a second-generation currency, and should not be listed as just another *coin. Just like Ripple, eMunie, Protoshares don't have coin in their name.

AHHH yup, shows up on my other browser. Usually it cuts out that block completely and it runs flush. I was wondering why there were no ads for such a high traffic site Grin

Appreciate the NXT add

Just wondering why Quark has been dropped again?

I assume it's something to do with the block explorer?

I wish there was a way to disable the graphs on the right.  They take up a lot of vertical space, and without them I could see the top 10 coins on one screen.  I would LOVE this!

Dear Gliss,

If you could add our 2nd Generation Cryptocurrency - NXT - to www.coinmarketcap.com that would be greatly appreciated. www.nextcoin.org

NXT has a cap of 1,000,000,000 (1 Billion) coins which will not change in the future. All 1 billion coins are in circulation - they have been distributed to initial investors and are being further distributed on the following exchange - www.dgex.com. (So you shouldn't need to access a NXT blockchain explorer to determine the number of coins in circulation).

You can get the last trade data from the following location - www.dgex.com/ticker.cgi

I hope this is sufficient information to include us.

And thank you, you are providing a fantastic service.
+1 , This deserves to be up there with the best.

Terminated.
Globalcoin has marketcap of rough $247,000.

Why not listed?

Possibly no working block explorer.

Thanks for the feedback, all.  Stuff I'm working on:

1. 24 hour rank changes (up/down arrows)
2. API page
3. A way to show which coins are out of date (in case of block explorer failures)
4. Prices in other currencies

And now lot's of stuff to address!  Sorry if I missed anyone's question, let me know if I did.

What's the criteria for new currencies to be added to the list?

1. It's a crypto-currency
2. It's traded on an exchange with an API
3. There is a URL somewhere that shows the total supply of coins in real time

Would you please care to include Opensourcecoin?
You should add NETcoin.
Is it possible to add Globalcoin?
Where is bottlecaps?
could you add Tigercoin (TGC) to your excellent site?
Will you be including Mastercoin and other Decentralized Applications built on top of the Bitcoin protocol on this list?
is it possible to get nibble back to the list?
I can't find securecoin anywhere on the site, considering it's extreme upward movements I'd like to see it there, it would save me a lot of time in market cap calculations.
So what needs to happen to get HBN listed?
I think that Datacoin can also be added to coinmarketcap.

I would love to add all of these, I just need a URL that shows the total supply of the coin in real time (for example for feathercoin: http://explorer.feathercoin.com/chain/Feathercoin/q/totalbc).  I do not have the resources to host block explorers for every alt coin.  Sad

Is there any chance you can add a download link pointing to something simple like a .xls file consisting of what we see on your website?

I'm working on an API so you'll be able to convert to .xls pretty easily.

I have a question about how the price is calculated on this page.

Is it simply a cross between all available exchange prices for the particular currency pair,
or is it also based on how much VOLUME an exchange contributes?

Thanks for enlightening me.

It's currently just the price of the highest volume exchange.

Could you add unobtainium? Or is the market cap too small?

Thx for the awesome site! Grin

I will try!
What about a coin price change in the last 24h?
Tnx
