The tournament you mentioned was a $10,000 freeroll in collaboration with a meme coin community that already had a large following. However, many participants likely registered just for the sake of participating or to boost  the popularity of that meme coin.

If you look at their regular freerolls, the platform seems to struggle with generating enough rake to support larger tournaments. This is evident by their inability to run frequent big freerolls.

In contrast, Stake can easily host million-dollar freerolls every day due to the sheer volume of money flowing through their platform. However, their biggest limitation currently is the lack of a dedicated poker client. Web browser-based poker platforms are notoriously vulnerable to cheating, which is why most major platforms avoid them. In my opinion, Stake is likely developing a dedicated client and wants to build a strong user base before launching it. This could pave the way for even bigger freerolls in the future.

Given the high rake structure of GG Poker, Stake has the potential to be the only competitor that can truly challenge them. I have high hopes for Stake's role in the future of online poker

In my understanding, any freeroll tournament is primarily marketing to attract newcomers, and it's worth noting that Coinpoker has held more than enough freeroll tournaments with different prize pools recently. Even now, they have some interesting freeroll tournaments on their schedule.
As for hosting multi-million dollar freerolls daily, no poker room will spend their funds this way. I think the WPN network had a record in this regard when they held regular freeroll tournaments with prize pools of $20-50k for half a year.
By the way, the GGpoker is quite scarce regarding regular freerolls.

^^^ I think CoinPoker was already well established before they started their campaign here on bitcointalk. They just aren't as famous as other poker platforms. I saw one of their freeroll tournaments reached 5K, which I never saw on stake.com's 1K usdt freeroll every 6 hours. I also observe that there are more players on CoinPoker right now compared to Stake.com poker.

I'm very active both platform because of their freeroll. Who doesn't love freeroll. lol

I think it is better for Coinpoker to build a steady reputation here; it will go a long way.

Coinpoker seems to have a good reputation both here and outside the forum so far. I think they are just trying to promote their brand through different marketing methods. However, I don't rule out that they might come back and relaunch the signature campaign after some time, as other gambling projects have done many times before them.

Maybe they just didn't get what they expect on short period of time that's why maybe they re-evaluate things if its still worth it to continue here since maybe they realize that before they can earn success they also need to spend a lot of money for marketing. I guess they are been bothered with tight competition that's why maybe they are exploring other things to advertise their business. If they are going to comeback here well its good since after all this forum is the most biggest platform where lots of people goes.

Hopefully their inactivity will not create certain issues to those people still trusting their casino since they can go back anytime they want if Coinpoker will value its reputation. At the moment even if they don't have running campaign they should frequently post some updates in this thread.

IMHO, they realized that they have to do things the right way; otherwise, this forum can do serious damage to their reputation. No serious, honest crypto platform can overlook the importance of this forum. Scammers are deliberately not active here so that they can escape scrutiny.

And where is the interesting CoinPoker_OFF missing? No news, no announcements of new tournaments, no passwords... (((

I think they abandoned this thread after ending the signature campaign. Since then, there’s been no news on this thread. However, if you check their social media like x.com they are still active there. It’s just here on bitcointalk that they are inactive. It seems their marketing campaign here on bitcointalk wasn’t very successful. Regarding the password, if there’s great tournament there’s chance that someone with a good heart might post it here without expecting anything in return.

Since they decided to end the campaign and then stopped being active on the forum, it's likely that the effect of the signature campaign wasn't what they expected. Honestly, it's not clear what kind of result they expected to get in just 3 weeks. As for tournaments, passwords to freeroll tournaments with big prize pools are usually not hard to get.
By the way, a freeroll with a prize pool of 2.5k is scheduled for tomorrow.

i regged on this site when it first started and what's changed.... nothing in 6 years other than the shitcoin is now the rakeback coin and tether as the basic shit coin once you deposit lol
what a clown show. nobody wants tether any more than your useless shit coin.
get fucked this is a scam site and people should be told
someone has to call it out as trash, it is trash
shitcoin site, not a poker site... same old shit

well he had you, but lets look past that
or not maybe the stupid didn't fall far from the tree
i was here a long time ago

if you are dont use this shitcoin site, its trash else proven otherwise
they where trash b4 and now its web3 suckers
are you this fucking stupid?
is calling out stupid allowed on the forum lol
prob not, i was banned here before for calling out trash that all went to 0 by now lol

slap a useless token on it while making the user experience worse and call it web3 Grin
oh wait you did most of that 6 years ago and the site hasn't ever changed
its like the people who made the site are gone and you have no idea what you are doing
after all these years you still look like a scammer
you still haven't got support for segwit
prove me wrong?
If you don't like the site, then don't play there. Seems like a pretty simple fix doesn't it? Acting like a fool in their thread and hiding under a newbie account does nothing but make you look like a scared little kid. I agree that they need to do some upgrades, but there are ways to say it that might get people to listen vs acting up.

Haters gonna hate, it's always been like that. Most likely this guy has had a bad experience at coinpoker in the past and now needs to express his feeling here.
I also think he might be a regular member just hiding under a newbie as you said, kinda strange.

Posting his agenda in here over and over again will not change anything.
I thought I made it very clear that I'm not playing there and why
i was on the site when they opened 6 years ago and it looked liked a scam, here i am 6 years later checking in and its still a scam and NOTHING on the site has changed from the player perspective and it's still a scam. the ONLY liquidity for this shit token is buyers of it for rake back on the site. nobody wants this

I had an account here over a decade ago now but I'm certainly no reg on the forum
i im back as a poker player saying this is still a garbage site
someone had to say it

this is simply a tab still open in my browser and i think 'oh yeah' this dumb shitcoin tonyg site that has an illiquid shitcoin
oh yeah thats a scam

ill keep the tab open for now if you wanna talk more but its all looking like scammer trash to me 6 years later and i wanted to share my perspective
i want to play poker on a good site
i think you can buy brain cell tokens now on this new blockchain
this is garbage and there are better sites (and the better sites are shit too, just not as much complete BS)
maybe they can make it better, but after 6 years they didn't change shit aside from making the shit token not the main in play
rent a brain cell, both of you
brain cells are available on my new blockchain now
buy more brain cells for brain cell rakeback
but yeah i just wanted to warm my fellow poker players...
fuck this shit coin site
the more you buy the smarter you get
#sarcasm tag for those who needed it
i doubt many smart people still are regs here
my point is NOBODY should be encouraged to play on this shit web site
you look like many of the scammers i left behind here a decade ago with all those shitty links in you signature
and when your sig is most of the content, you aren't providing shit
you are uselelss intrenet garbage just like the site in question
do yo late for work, shitcoiners have any more questions or can we close this tab now

10k freeroll? That's a decent prizepool but I have no idea how many players were registered, there must be thousands player and it might take hours to finish.
I did not notice about the freeroll but even if I noticed the freeroll, I might not be interested if the schedule is at 3am in your country since it is 2am in my country.
Starting time of a poker tournament is something crucial and it will not be able to be friendly for all players due to different timezone.
Poker site needs to provide several tournaments with different starting time so all players may join it depending on their timezone.

If I'm not mistaken, that freeroll tournament had over 4k users. As for the time of tournaments, many poker rooms hold tournaments around the clock. However, the most interesting tournaments with large prize pools happen exactly during prime time. The problem is that some users have the night and sometimes early morning when these tournaments are held. However, as far as I know, those users who constantly earn money by poker just move to another country with a more convenient time zone.
To get more people to play and make sure that everyone has a good chance, tournaments should have a range of times that work for people in different time zones.
Many sites have tried that and they seem to target certain areas of the world, mainly times that are good for the USA and Europe areas. That seems to get them the best results as far as attracting players. They're not going to cater to a region that produces poor results or has very few depositors.

Who knows where the password for today's Buccaneers Gone Wild freeroll will be published?
Do not bother, tournament is strictly for NFT holders. Floor price for that NFT is around 0.2 ETH, that is why only few people are playing there.

Damn, I forgot about the 10K freeroll sponsored by Bitcoin.com. Don't know why the schedule always 3am in PHT. Did anyone from Bitcointalk manage to join the Bitcoin.com 10K USDT freeroll and win any of the prizes? That tournament had quite decent prizes for the 1st to 10th places. The last time I saw, the prize for 1st place was 1,700 USDT. I don't know how much it was at the end of the contest. You can win a prize even you end up 500th in that freeroll tournament.
