As for the betting requirements 200 hands wagering 0.0025 BTC will get you to the 0.5 BTC requirement. I do not think that is to large by any means. I think the 2BTC prize pool warrants the requirements stated in the terms and conditions.
We have users here asking us for competition (tournaments) so we hope that we will see a better turnout for this tournament than we did the previous one.

How about this rule? Is it 20 registered players or there must 20 players meet the requirements (200 rounds bet and 0.5btc wagered amount)? As the previous tournament which was not running as expected, I think the registration process should be removed. Let all your players who play on the game being included on the leaderboard. I'm worrying that this new tournament will be just the same as the previous one, where there was no winner. It is not good to those spend time and money but failed to win something because the lack of participants. Other thing that can be revised is the minimum wagered amount, 0.5btc is maybe something too big for vocational players. I think, it is better to reduce the prize and reduce the minimum wagered amount so the tournament may get more participants. Huge prize but less participants is not good at all as there will be no winner again. Just my opinion.
