They used their sock-puppets to post in one thread that it was my alt-account. It seems they are blaming anybody and everybody of a malicious campaign against them for asking questions that exposes them. One day they say it is you another day they say it me and on another day maybe they will say it is another user. What is the point of trying to persuade them otherwise? Grin

I think it is great that a low ranking users has jumped on their case and keeps posting there to point out to people that coinsbit are scammers and as you rightly pointed out it is great that the thread is not even bumped to the first page of the listings, it seems to float between the second and third pages usually. that is why I do not post in that thread and hope other members with any form of mid-to-high ranking refrain from posting there too because we do not want to give them any form of opportunity to get to the top of the listings page.

I prefer to make an occasional copy/paste of a post by bitbottrader from the coinsbit ANN thread and repost in coinsbit scam threads but will avoid in their ANN thread until/unless necessary.

I know they think its me, and even though its not, I'm not going to argue with them. Once somebody decides you're an alt of somebody else there's not much you can do to persuade them otherwise.

But its a good idea to use a low ranking account to remind people about their scam accusations so that way they don't bump the thread.

Here is a re-post of a post made in the coinsbit ANN thread which is infested with sock-puppets.

Full credit to bitbottrader for not allowing the group of scammers that operate coinsbit/p2pb2b/exrates/whitebit to get away with abusing this wonderful forum.

Tagged the bots, reported thread to mods & merited OP. Lets see if anything happens.

Thank you IconFirm. It is a tedious task but if we tag any scammer, sock-puppet or paid shill then at least we might be able to save a few of people from losing money, it would be worth it.

These are the known 96 fake accounts used by coinsbit.

I added the ~ before each user name so if you did add them to your IGNORE list then visit the coinsbit thread before/after - you will see the difference.

This is becaming ridiculous. That scammers are so greedy that instead of hiring real human paid shills they are using bots, that are much more cheaper.

This is still not enough for the forum owners to take solid action. They are pointed to the scammers on a regular basis which sometimes leads to action such as the previous coinsbit ANN thread being nuked. They created new user accounts and returned to open another coinsbit ANN thread. The connection between the two is clear but they have not nuked the second thread.

It seems to me that you are trying to pretend to be knights on a white horse who are fighting with bots and against scam .... but in reality you just fight with competitors. I may be wrong, but I have this opinion.

I can't believe the thread was launched on September 16th and it already has 65 pages of spam! That must be some kind of a record. We're talking an average of 36 posts per day of just straight 1-2 liner spam all written by the same group of accounts. My hunch is its one person controlling all the accounts.

Probably the dumbest part is it started 5 days after the new bumping changes went into effect!  Cheesy

Man, this exchange got suckered pretty hard. Scammers scamming scammers I suppose.

I can believe it. Their previous thread which was deleted and had all traces removed by the moderators was pumped to death, literally.

Their new one has reached 75 pages: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/an-coinsbitio-innovative-trading-cryptosystem-5185065

In an attempt to protect himself from getting banned in future, thus far the OP of that thread has made just 5 posts: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/coinsbitexchange-2681193

75 pages of pure trash posting all done with the help of sock-puppets and hired shills but for them in a futile attempt to get their thread in the first pages of the listings. That will never happen with sock-puppets.

There is no stopping to the newbie user who kept posting replies to its thread. they'd just bury your scam accusation in that thread by those newbies. Can't the Mods do something about it?  The replies already covered 3 pages in just 12 hours. Normally when they receive negative feedback users will respond to it but their community member doesn't care about it. But this is of course they are bots.

Moderators should take appropriate action as soon as possible. I checked their ANN thread and noticed fake conversation there. Most likely they are using bumping service from outside forum like fiverr. So taging them all wouldn't going to change anything. But its true  that using paid bumping service one of most common symtoms of scam. Fake conversation misleading investors and traders. Expecting very soon we will find scam accusation of lost fund against them if users do not want stay away from them.

I don't think its actual "bots" so much as one person (or a handful of people) emulating posting bots.

They are a continuation of this farm of accounts that recently came back to life to "bump" threads for scam projects. They somehow convinced coinsbit to hire them and keep paying them, even with the negative trust and the fact that they are no longer capable of bumping a thread to the top!

I got under this guy's skin pretty good months ago -- he is 100% part of the farm -- maybe the "leader." I wouldn't be surprised if its simply one guy logging in and out of accounts all day

When I clicked on Altcoin Announcements just now, I saw that the thread is indeed on the first page, kind of in the middle, but that's 100% thanks to us commenting in it. I will direct them to this thread, after which I will stop commenting in it (we're only giving them free exposure because of the way the new bumping scores are calculated).

Except for us and the occasional Cryptotalk shitposter that wanders in and posts in the thread, _all_ comments in that thread are by the farm.

I haven't done enough research to know if Coinsbit is an actual scam or not, but its never a good sign of a project has to resort to such cheeseball tactics.

What happened = coinsbit.io exchange thread bots posting.

Scammers profile = https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/coinsbitexchange-2681193

Scammers thread = https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/an-coinsbitio-innovative-trading-cryptosystem-5185065

Jollygood thread regarding ban request = https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/mods-requesting-bans-for-coinsbit-sock-puppets-5190706

This scam thread was discovered by Jollygood. He and Nutildah posted warnings in that thread about the bumping and fake buzz created by army of paid shills. (More than 90 accounts) I joined them today and posted a warning too. My post was made about 4am (Kiev time, Ukraine) That exchange and developers are located in Kiev. I revisited the thread 30 minutes later and found two posts containing some BS and not related to my warning at all. Who the he'll will post meaningless BS at 4.30am in a thread of a scam exchange? Only bots. If you check the tread closely, you will notice that nobody is answering to scam accusations, posted by Jolly, Nutildah and me. Just continuous posts containing some pre-programmed BS over and over. That bots are programmed to post at certan period of time, to bump the thread and create a fake buzz. I am asking mods to check that profiles and ban them. This is becaming ridiculous. That scammers are so greedy that instead of hiring real human paid shills they are using bots, that are much more cheaper. Sorry for the bad format of this thread. I'm posting from my mobile phone.
