Hey, when the referral program will back? There is already some time it closed saying that will back soon, but until now no news about it. The referral program was nice...

Will it really back or there is no many chances to happen?

thank you for sharing information on how to get a free bitcoin by simply registering on cointelegraph but it is very difficult to get a reference to a site other than the faucet because this site only offer once claim per user id.

I think this program is better than faucet. 1000 ~ 2000 sats/view is good more than cpm anywhere in this world hehe.

On another note, I was just below the threshold for payout... Admin, any news on if and when this program will be reactivated?

So when are they going to resume their referral program, anyone knew?
I can see my hits are being counted still even when there is a message in the dashboard saying "The referral programm is suspended. Will come soon."

I think no one knows, maybe you can ask the admin via email.

Why would it be wrong to share the link on social media like facebook groups that are related to bitcoin? i see nothing is wrong with that after all, they added that facebook link on their articles so its meant for it. correct? and i guess the only people who would click the shared articles are the people who are interested to it so i guess its still a target traffic.

I'm not saying that sharing itself is a problem, you're arguing the strawman. I'm saying it could be a problem if it turns into regular spam.

Imagine facebook group (or subreddit etc) where multiple members share every article from CT on daily basis, not giving a fuck about not duplicating content (ie same article shared by 20 people in 1 day). Still not a problem? Would you allow that if you were a mod?

i just got the message to after i loggedin.. do you think they'd lower their pay per hits when resume?

I'm guessing the program was massively abused, or maybe the cost just didn't convert to expected income. Hope to see it back soon.
Might just be the reason, if bitcoin advertising network allows referral link to be advertised, it might just well be profitable. I don't think t his is an abuse though.

I was talking more about generating fake clicks etc. But even if people follow the rules, you still have spam issue. If suddenly you see shitload of CT links all over bitcoin related social media, that could damage CT's reputation as many will associate them with spam.

Example, I've seen same CT article shared by different users on the same subreddit. Normally reddit wouldn't allow duplicates, but due to different referral suffixes, both went through. If such issues become persistent, some mods could even go as far as block CT altogether.

you are probably right. the ?refid in the url was a bit to easy to give problems.

I guess a better tracking system would be needed, or allowing the affiliate program only to selected people

The referral programm is suspended. Will come soon.

All new readers brought by you will not be counted and paid during this week. But you are still able to withdraw those funds which were earned earlier.

I was thinking about joining this program as I saw some members making good revenue. but unfortunately it seems they stopped it.
Is there any plan to start it again ?

I would like to ask what is the minimum payout from this site? Pay per click with your social networks?

Minimum payout $1 dollar in BTC. Each click on your link 1000-2000 satoshi (depending how fresh is the article). Articles posted on the last 2 hours give you 2000 satoshi per click, another articles give 1000 satoshi only.
