Hey Arkaen and thanks a lot.

1) I have added "cryptocurrency" into the Google Trend Chart

2) Yeah, I know. I have tried to add %-changes into the summary box but it was to much information.
What do you think of this?

Best regards,
Dario

I love it, Cheesy

Hi Dario.

Fantastic web app! I decided to get the unlimited plan just in time for tax season last month.

I love like the depth of features. It's almost perfect, which is a rare thing for me to say (I find most software either lacks features I desire, or is feature-bloated at the expense of usability).

I have just a couple suggestions for you:

1) On the Google Trends page, "cryptocurrency" is a key term to track. It gets much greater international search volume than "digital currency", and is currently showing a parabolic move: https://trends.google.ca/trends/explore?q=digital%20currency,cryptocurrency,blockchain

It's particularly useful for gauging new users entering the sector, as searches like "best cryptocurrency" and "buy cryptocurrency" are much more prevalent than "buy digital currency":
https://trends.google.ca/trends/explore?q=best%20digital%20currency,best%20cryptocurrency,buy%20cryptocurrency,buy%20digital%20currency

"Blockchain" and "Cryptocurrency" are both useful terms with very different search patterns. The steady climb in "blockchain" vs exponential spikes in "cryptocurrency" suggests to me that "cryptocurrency" is more of a buzzword that travels via viral media and word of mouth, while "blockchain" is a measure of steady industry growth, used by those who are already familiar.

2) The Dashboard homepage would be ideal if the Summary tab also gave 24 hour % gain (and ideally the option to sort by 24 % gain/loss). As it stands I constantly switch between the dashboard and currency balance just to check this. Checking % gain/loss at a glance is the only reason I still use the Blockfolio app. CoinTracking.info is infinitely more powerful, and more useful to me in pretty much every other way.

Keep up the great work!

Hey,
The prices are automatically adjusted to the BTC price.
Converted in USD, they are still as high as a month ago.
BTW: You can get a 10% discount with the referrer link in my signature and additional 5% for payments in BTC.

Isnt the current price of the PRO version, a bit pricey with a BTC at 1700 USD ?

Cost for a lifetime use 0,68 btc - $1224 i think that's kinda expensive, with $500 i would gladly pay the lifetime price but then i just stay with the free version Smiley

And you can generally avoid a report to the Tax Inspectorate?
I'm sure you can. But I would not risk it.

And you can generally avoid a report to the Tax Inspectorate? For me, crypto currency is an additional income and not so big that it would be desirable to declare.

Guys, but I did not understand something, what could be the reporting before the tax, if the crypto currency does not allow it to be done? Or did I not understand something?
Sorry ananas99, but I'm not sure if I get the question.

>> what could be the reporting before the tax
There are many reportings that can be done before the tax.
Most of them are not even related to a tax report.

>> if the crypto currency does not allow it to be done
Why should a currency not allow you to do a report / tax report?

I will do my best to add as many API imports as possible in the next time.

Any chance you might be adding automatic import via Bittrex API support similar to how you've added Poloniex recently?  I would immediately sign up for a paid account to save me from entering all of my bittrex transactions every day. Smiley

Thanks for a great site Smiley

I can see a huge difference in AVG% between these two methods. Not really sure which one is more accurate (reflecting true amount) If I sell some of my shares in coin A and reinvest on coin B.

Example:
Buy 1 BTC for 100 USD in 2014
Sell 1 BTC 500 USD in 2015
Buy 1 BTC for 1000 USD in 2017

"Average of all Assets" will calculate the average cost basis from all your purchases.
In this example: (100 + 1000) / 2 = 550 USD

"Average of unsold Assets" will calculate the average ONLY from all unsold assets.
In this example the cost basis will be 1000 USD, as the first BTC from 2014 has already been sold in 2015.

Because the gain from all your sales is already included in your "realized gain", I would recommend the new "Average of unsold Assets" method.
The older method ignores all sales and is just taking an average from all your purchases.

But both methods are fine, just in a different way.
It depends on how you would like to see your gain calculated Smiley

Dario

Just came here to say thanks for all of your new features and active development. Crypto trading will not be easy without this product.  Grin
Thank you sana Smiley

I have one question though,

From now on the calculation can be changed. The following are available:
- Average of unsold Assets as Cost Basis (default)
- and Average of all Assets as Cost Basis (old method)

I can see a huge difference in AVG% between these two methods. Not really sure which one is more accurate (reflecting true amount) If I sell some of my shares in coin A and reinvest on coin B.

I am impressed! You have not only implemented the basic feature, but added so many extras, and in such a short time.

You, Sir, are a programming wizard.

Haha, thanks a lot  Cheesy

I'm glad you like it
