I can't find the option to set dates for the ETH Imports via API however

One option is to set the values to zero, but deleting transactions the API will reimport those deleted ones again by design.
If you are fighting against reimporting data, you could set today as a start date within your API job and no previous transactions - even the deleted ones - are imported.

Issue with ETH imports overwriting transactions - I have lots of tiny airdrops that I just deleted/set to 0 because it makes no sense for them to stay in the database. I just noticed however that the Etherscan API synchs up and those transactions show up again.

That's the case for every transaction I modify from my wallet. As soon as it syncs up - it pulls back the old history.

What's the best way to fix this?

You are welcome @boomboom.

@excelerator Thank you for providing the updates in your ticket.
The only limit there is a technical one which is mentioned on the LTC API page as well and which allows you to import 1000 transaction per day via Auto Import job, but initionally up to 50000 transactions.
Due to your case and your support we could fix an issue there. And for applying fixes it is sometimes needed to re-create all API Jobs. Thank you very much for your help here.

Are there plans to add API for imports from Celsius network?

Celsius pays interest on crypto deposits, so there is some difference with other standard tx types from exchanges, maybe.

Yes, we've been talking to Celsius about this for several weeks.
At this moment Celsius does not offer CSV exports or a read-only API, but they are working on both.
However, they told us that users can contact their Support Desk and their devs will create a CSV.
Unfortunately we don't know what the CSV format is like. But you should be able to import it via the Custom Exchange import.
As soon they provide a real export function, we will integrate Celsius.

Thanks for this reply, that is great news Smiley

I understand that you are not not happy with the service. Thank you for reaching out to us. Our developers are working already on all topics you mentioned and yes, we fixed the LTC topic.
As an explanation to share with everybody here:
We recently changed our BTC API provider so that adjustments are needed in case of issues provided by customers.
And we are working on Top10 altcoin API wallet imports to make things easier for everyone that means importing transactions automatically. For more then 200 altcoins we rely on a third party provider cryptochainz. As a semi automatic solution we offer Excel and CSV Importer for importing transactions from wallets / exchanges in bulk.
A feedback loop does always help us to improve our software. And we are working on this improvement daily.
Thank you for your patience, testing effort and providing feedback.

Unfortunately the LTC address import is still broken for my job.  I've updated the support ticket with the new details and believe have diagnosed the likely issue for the developer.

This isn't about being "happy" - this is about usability and trusting your service is accurate.

It is a CoinTracking related thread in this forum.

We have no issues with our ETH importer API.

Deleting the API Job and create it again would be the first step to check. If it does not help  I suggest to check your account individually checking your ETH API job address. Please send us a support ticket or an E-Mail to [email protected] with your CoinTracking username (login).

is this just one long thread for all cointracking problems?

Anyone else having trouble with their MEW api not working?

My Wallet api for my MEW has not brought in new transactions since april 19 and I got to check it and it says that the adress is invalid but my adress is fine. I see that there are some others talking about some APIs not working correctly, maybe this one isnt either?

I recently purchased the "Unlimited" service and it has not worked anywhere near satisfactorily and remains useless to me for accurate recordkeeping.  I'm happy to share my support tickets with anyone in this forum.

First, the BTC address import API failed and apparently it had to completely rewritten or new source code licensed and adapted.  It was eventually fixed.

Second, the LTC address import API failed and it wouldn't properly import an address into the tool.  From the support tool "This may take time to fix, we appreciate your patience and understanding.".  I waited over two days without response and had to ask for an update.  It is still not fixed.

These are BTC and LTC, the #1 and #6 currencies by market cap.  These should be bullet proof, rock solid, at this point in the product lifecycle.

I'm posting this out of sheer frustration.

*** 11/3/19 ***

Developer fixed the LTC address import problem - testing now.

*** 11/4/19 ***
So the problem is still not fixed - import is still wrong, but in a new way!  I deleted the old job and created a new one with the same address.

A "Manually balance" occurs when there is no exchange name assigned to a transaction. You can easily identify the transactions where the exchange name is missing if you sort your transaction list by exchange on the "Enter Coins" page. If you enter the corresponding exchange name to the transactions the "manually balance" section will disappear on the e.g. Balance by exchange report.

I also have question about report "Balance By Exchange".  I'm trying to fix all the data import problems (so many wallets and exchanges are difficult or incomplete APIs or exports!)  to prepare my taxes by 10/15.

BalanceByExchange report is recco'ed to be used to compare to actual online exchange assets, to ID shortcomings in data import/API.

First few iterations I got just exchanges be section of the report. NOW I get a new section called "Manually Balance"  which has about 25 line items most notably negative BTC (large number of), negative ETH, negative negative XRP, negative BCH, and a bunch of tokens with positive values of USD cents (perhaps fees missing or dust left behind somewhere?)

How do I understand and use this report's Manually Balance section?  need to get my records straight soon for extended U.S. tax deadline Oct .15.

TIA

That live api view was helpful for other exchanges however it doesn't look like Kucoin is supported:

Actually there is a new and quite good way to check KuCoin live balances via the API.
We will add it into CoinTracking's live balance page this or next week.

Yes, we do not support that at the moment. We will check if the KuCoin API does allow API live view option as well.
Currently you need to login to your KuCoin account and check the "live view" of your balances there and compare it with the imported transactions.
