Oh jeez Vod... that's quite a stretch in this situation, trust me. Tongue

Stretch or not... if anyone lost coin on this forum, they can join me.  I lost 2btc and the Administrator is paying members who steal.  :/

Everyone who lost money in this scam can join my class action.  Theymos has known about and supported the criminal element on this forum for years.

It's not your fault - you just naturally trusted the administrator.  :/

I read the tread and I'm sad for you. I wanted to ask you for advice. Unfortunately, I inherited a genesis edition card, 199 of 250, and would like to redeem it.
I checked the public address and it has 0.01 btc. I opened the hologram and I have a 52 digit code. Where can I insert them? How do I create the wallet?
Can you advise me step by step what to do?

Thanks in advance

Wait, what? Genesis cards were buyer-funded.

There should be a hologram underneath to scan - use and go to import wallet using private keys, or if using mycelium, goto import from cold storage. Scan the hologram, it should sweep the funded address into the wallet or give you choice where to send them - send them elsewhere asap.

Do not make any movie scenarios, he will not go to jail. Not if it's the first time he's scammed and if there aren't millions of euros involved. The prisons in France are full.
But if no one files a complaint, he will get nothing and can do it again.
If there is a complaint, there will be an investigation, a judgement and (surely) a conviction with damages to pay.
But yes, it will cost money and a lot of time. I relayed the case in the french section, but so far no one has complained about being scammed  (as far as I know).
You just changed my aim in life. I am moving to France this year and be ready everyone for my company here is bitcointalk. My limit is $1M though but I will limit it to $500K. Once I have it then I am gonna fuck you all 😂

How does it sounds?
So, yogg gets nothing. What a sweet escape unfortunately.

I find your lack of faith in Bitcoin disturbing.
At least take him to the jail. Let him enjoy the life behind the bar for few years.

Why? To cost more money we will never see? He's broke, broken, and won't be back, and there is literally nothing to gain from suing a broke person. Huh
At least take him to the jail. Let him enjoy the life behind the bar for few years. Today he is broke, tomorrow he will find another master plan to scam some others.

I would not assume he is 100% broke, he gotta have some assets left, property to live in, stuff like that.
Also, I agree with BitcoinGirl. Even if he was completely broke, what kind of message would this community be sending if you all start let people to get away with stuff like this, even though the alleged scammer is fully doxxed?

Best case scenario he still have some stuff and a french judge will force some garnishment to happen.
How much would cost to prosecute someone in France? He also owes a considerable amount of money to lenders, if I recall correctly.

He will never have children, so he does not need to worry about that... Huh
Good for him. Man like him doesn't deserve a family and a good life.

Are the folks from the collectible section seriously considering to bring some legal actions onto the table to retrieve part of these funds some way or not?
I ask because this is not the typical person who steals some satoshis and disappears with no trace, as far as I can tell this person is pretty much doxxed (mostly because the fact he had a registered company).

There is no way someone living in France and doxxed could get away with this so easily?

Stupid event of the year 2023!
When you trust someone and he breaks, it does not make you stupid. If anyone is stupid here, it's yogg. Man was cheap worth of $50k. I wonder if that will make him proud when his grand children or even his children will ask about it. They will know how pathetic their father or grand dad was.

What's the total amount yogg scammed? Is there any confirmed amount in total or we are talking about the amount which has been confirmed by a few forum members?

The Stone the masons rejected was the cornerstone.
It's interesting that people will cling to Bitcoin for it's perceived privacy then turn around and make public their "losses" (in this case through theft) making public their wallet addresses etc - Which gives an insight into the tally of funds a person has/had and (in the case of self funded physical items bearing wallet addresses) where those funds came from.

e.g. Exchanges, other users... Theoretically even other scams or thefts.

Good point....but these cards were not loaded by myself but the thief Yogg himself. So if you followed that addy it woulve came from DOgg andgone back to DOGG.

As for the BTC that I swept from all these cards that were still funded....thats another story as they have gone to a paper wallet.

  Nice listed oh bearded one!

You might wanna add that thousands in premiums were also lost due to theft DOGG perpetrated!

Thats the hidden loss that  many are not aware of unless they understood the market for these cards.

   Thanks again for making it!

@Kryptowerk already sum it all of confirmed losses, it's even worse @yogg have default few loans since long time ago and it's still not returned yet.
~

There you see that everything is scattered around the threads so accessing this info is difficult if you don't know where to look for.
It's very nice of you making this charity signature campaign.  I'll quote the post from @Kryptowerk in the OP and then lock the topic.
