I'm still not convnced in Coldlar's security especially after John McAfee's "unhackable" Bitfi wallet was hacked by a 15 year old lol.

Bitfi may only have been a repurposed Android smart phone with a cold storage wallet installed.

Managed to get one at a dollar, pretty lucky. Can t wait for it to arrive.
I currently have a nano s that is playing with my nerves, ledgerlive bugged on my computer and can t log into ethereum app. It might end on sale.
The fact that i won t need my laptop for every transaction is great!
I ll come back with feedback once i get to use it

ColdLar, guardian for blockchain digital assets, today announced that its latest cold wallet, the ColdLar Wallet Pro 3, will go on flash sale exclusively on Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07GD9BTBJ) from September 20 to 26 at 00:00 PDT. The hardware wallet will be available at the price point starting at US$ 1 for the first three buyers who complete payment successfully. The next ten buyers will only get a discount of 50%.

$1?? Seriously?! So that's around 99% off? That's pretty cheap.

What happen for the next buyers after the 50% are sold off? No discount then?

Hi there, more than 70k of ColdLar wallet were sold out since we started the ColdLar P1 wallet in last June. Of course most of them are local Chinese users, nearly 70%. The remaining 30% of them are mainly Japanese and Korean users.  Now we start to sell ColdLar to the US and Europe market. At this moment we have ColdLar P2 Plus, and soon we will launch ColdLar P3. Pls kindly stay tuned.

70k? That's quite a lot.

Oh, so you don't support shipping to Indonesia then.
Hello, the company does support shipping to Indonesia.

Interesting project but overly priced I believe $680 bucks is too much compared to its competitor ledger and terzor which more or less offer similar wallet with a same amount of security.

+1

Even if they have additional apps, fingerprint support and etc, I think >$600 is way too expensive. But still, it was sold out though.

How many units were made? I dont see that they have solded out more than 10,000 units in a few months after availability on the market. Maybe they only made 1000 units lol.

Hey Patatas and joniboini, thanks for your attentions and comments about the price of ColdLar wallet. Although they are all called hardware wallet, there are tons of differences between ColdLar and other wallets.

ColdLar actually has its own operation system with a display screen. All you need is the wallet and the ColdLar application to complete the transactions. No need of a computer to make it work.

The ColdLar hardware wallet is always offline. It creates the transaction, generate the private key based on the seed password and payment password by algorithm. As long as the signature is done, the private key is gone. On one hand, ColdLar hardware wallet does not store the private key; on the other hand, ColdLar hardware wallet never connects the Internet, which eliminates the risks of being hacked.

For more information about ColdLar hardware wallet, we will post an article about it. Please kindly stay tuned. Thanks.
