Interesting use case for Bitcoin. You don't see people holding up signs saying "donate to my bank account: xx-xxx-xxxx". Bank account numbers are considered much more private. And even if you did share your bank details, it would take days for anyone to send an inter-bank transfer.

With Bitcoin though, it's easy to give & receive anonymous and (essentially) instant donations. No strings attached. Seems like the perfect tool for the job.

I'm waiting for the day some smokin' hot college chick gets a temp tattoo of a BTC QR-code on her butt cheek and then hits the beach in a bikini.

Just have your address QR code on the front and back of a tshirt with some slogan, and walk around. See how many people you get to scan you.

How would he get fined? Is that some type of NCAA reg?

Well he just jokingly proposed to tag the city with spray paint.

You can get fined for actually doing this.

I know some may find what he did funny, but...

I still don't understand why people would just give him money like that  Tongue

Spray (can) your BTC Addy all over town and on city hall, you might get lucky, even might end up on the news.

The fines if caught would cost you more than you get from the donations I guess.

I should have thought of this before...

I bet now others are going to do this and it's just gonna get boring and unoriginal.

Hell, just show up at local rallies, protests, and westboro. Just print posters and paste them on scientology buildings saying that donations will help them achieve higher learning. Cheesy Grin
