There are lots of ways to attract people to Bitcoin, whether through chatting and explaining Bitcoin to people you know, through some short educational videos on YouTube or directing them to this forum that knows Bitcoin well.

But this requires time and many attempts. People are afraid of Bitcoin because of the news they hear about the collapse of exchanges or the bankruptcy of companies and they think that this is because of Bitcoin, so your first task is to convince them that these exchanges and companies have nothing to do with Bitcoin.

@Op You represent bitcoin correctly but not the investment. A person who works hard for cash in his life will not understand the meaning of investment so you must present him with the right information about Bitcoin. Because of course he may think it's easy to lose money.

Next Step you will present exactly why to invest in bitcoin about the future of bitcoin. Of course he must be convinced that it is not easy to lose money if you invest properly in Bitcoin. Discuss in full detail. And also discuss short term and long term investments if interested in investing periodically. But if the right investment is done, Bitcoin will help you to get many benefits and the risk is very low.

Indeed, the strongest reason that makes someone afraid to invest in bitcoin is because of the person's limited insight into bitcoin. Lack of insight certainly means someone will not understand Bitcoin itself. But we also can't force them to learn bitcoin. Because they will only start to be interested in learning about bitcoin if they are really curious about bitcoin. Usually curiosity arises after they see someone successful from bitcoin. So now we just have to focus more on ourselves in investing in bitcoin. And after we have many advantages, then we can make them curious and interested in following us. And they will definitely start learning it. Those who misunderstand bitcoin are those who receive wrong information and from the wrong media or news that vilifies bitcoin.
What the actual case is that a lot of people nowadays only think of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as being profit-generating sources and they hear everyone who has invested money in them say that they have earned profit in a very short period of time and this makes them curious, but what they don't do is doing their own research about them before getting involved, they just get too excited hearing about profits and they want to achieve that as well like others.

This is the biggest reason why a lot of people who are in the market still lack proper insight and knowledge about Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, they don't even understand how the market actually works but they are involved just because they've heard that it's a profitable financial market.
They are not interested in bitcoin or how it works, they are only interested on the money they can make by making use of this market, and ironically those are the people that have the lowest chances to achieve their goals, can you imagine a person trying to become a doctor without the vocation for it and doing it just for the money? Someone like that will have incredibly low chances of succeeding and the same is true here, as only those which are deeply interested in bitcoin will do everything they can in order to learn more about it, and then financial success will come on its own.

One of the things that bitcoin has enhanced is the power to say "I have an investment", it is something that is available to the most common of mortals, with a small purchase, so there is a large majority that does not understand it but it also happens with the use of fiat money, that is really where the real bubble is, but they use it, because they grew up in that environment.

Bitcoin is a network that has a very useful and valuable asset like bitcoin, which encompasses empowerment, control of your assets and the possibility of wealth as its price improves over the years, but it is not just about the economic value, people only see The brilliance of having a $1 and turning it into $2 but the right to control and decide what to do with that $1 makes it less important.

Liking bitcoin and its forum is not enough. One should establish its passion for bitcoin first and the cryptocurrency market so that he will make a lot of effort to study and understand what the forum is all about.

Forcing the people to get to know bitcointalk and learn from it will not help. It should be their sole decision to enter the forum because they have understood the essence of it in order to be successful with bitcoin.

There are some areas where many people are afraid to invest in Bitcoin and they cannot trust Bitcoin. People who still don't believe in Bitcoin and consider it a scam are the most stupid people. Because in this digital age people who do not know about virtual currency will never take bitcoin positively but they will always think negatively about it. There are many elders in the society who are still very backward, they do not understand about the virtual world and even if they are taught this, they do not want to accept it. But we have many dreams to make this bitcoin investment. When we make a bitcoin investment, we are very interested in profiting from it. And by using Bitcoin we are once associated with Bitcoin by dreaming of becoming a big man and making a success of it. But there are many people who don't understand Bitcoin and they think they will lose money if they invest in Bitcoin. And those people will never be educated in bitcoin education that's why bitcoin is not for them. Rather, all the people who can talk about Bitcoin in a positive way are the only ones who invest in Bitcoin and they can go well in the future.

Of what I could understand I discovered that over 50% of them understood Bitcoin as a get Rich quick scheme which was why most of them thought of it as a scam because they had been scammed through their false idea of Bitcoin as a get Rich quick scheme.
I believe we can see people like that in any country that thinks Bitcoin as a get-rich-quick scheme. So, since we have correct understanding of Bitcoin, we should not allow them to persist in their negative beliefs. We must fix their misconceptions about Bitcoin so that they refrain from spreading false information about it. If you want Bitcoin to be used in every country around the world, you must be accountable for teaching people about Bitcoin, especially those who share bogus news about Bitcoin.
I agree with you. I will surely correct any misinformation I see, especially from anyone I know, about their false view and perspective on Bitcoin. However, will I spend so much time looking around the internet to find posts and discussions that have false information about Bitcoin? No, of course not. Who would? We can honestly only do as much as seeing just how negatively a big part of media is contributing to the false image and information surrounding Bitcoin it will be hard to fix that. The only productive thing we can actually do is spread true and positive information and experiences about Bitcoin without having a specific target, just post randomly or share it during discussions that you have with your family and friends, I'm sure at least one of them will share those information you give to someone else and from that it will reach a bigger audience.

The things that the OP mentioned may be a reality that needs to be addressed, but it's not that easy because we don't know them unless they are close people like friends or part of the family, maybe we can give a real explanation.
I think Bitcoin would still be considered that way if they weren't willing to find a way to learn and understand Bitcoin before doing so. And I would say let it be, because to get involved with Bitcoin we can't get it at school or anywhere else. And it must start from awareness and intelligence on how to get it so that they can understand and have good knowledge about Bitcoin, let those who experience losses spread negative news about Bitcoin. Because in the end they will regret it after finding understanding and knowledge about Bitcoin and this also does not dampen Bitcoin enthusiasts who continue to increase from time to time.
So in my opinion, just ignore those who spread negative news about Bitcoin due to their own fault, unless they are close people. Maybe we can shed some light on their misconceptions about Bitcoin.

There are alot of reasons people fear investing in Bitcoin especially in my locality. These reasons are numerous ranging from fear of losses , scams , security issues and lots more .I got to understand this by asking a couple of persons what they knew about Bitcoin and if they had any intention of investing sonner . about 98% of them had heard about Bitcoin but only about 10% really understood what Bitcoin was . Of what I could understand I discovered that over 50% of them understood Bitcoin as a get Rich quick scheme which was why most of them thought of it as a scam because they had been scammed through their false idea of Bitcoin as a get Rich quick scheme.
The others which had idea about Bitcoin I discovered were  investors in the Bitcoin space.

This brought me into thinking how do we make people understand Bitcoin properly in order to prevent them from being scammed and end up disliking the crypto space. Is introducing them into Bitcoin talk enough? If no what else more can we do easily to make them actually get the idea of Bitcoin.

People think that Bitcoin is a fraud and scam but only those who have not experienced it themselves or sometimes hear from someone who told them that they invested in Bitcoin and lost all the money, etc. but they have no idea why they lost their funds and said Bitcoin as a fraud. The preseason for their loss is they entered at the wrong time and yeah their exist is also at the wrong time due to which they lost and they did not apply the right strategy or maybe they haven't any planning about investing when to enter and when to out. These types of people spread the wrong information about Bitcoin and the people become fearful when they hear about Bitcoin, and is not a good idea to introduce them to Bitcointalk first you need to tell them about Bitcoin and then blockchain and when they are fully satisfied then introduce them to the bitcoin talk and I hope they will no longer refuse the bitcoin.

Ignorance determines the impression. Yeah, they feel lost while they still hold bitcoin in their hands.
To refute the paradigm that bitcoin is an "investment scheme" that can harm their finances, I think it's good to start teaching them by utilizing bitcoin right away. But, this is only limited to someone who has the will to do something that will pay them in bitcoins. I'm sure their impression will be different from before.
Most people don't really feel like they've lost if it didn't come from risking their money.

One of the most common ideas associated with Bitcoin is that it represents a decentralized, borderless, and censorship-resistant form of digital gold. This notion underscores Bitcoin's potential as a store of value, much like how gold has been used historically.  Cool

Additionally, many believe that Bitcoin can serve as a hedge against inflation and a means to preserve wealth, especially in times of economic uncertainty or in regions with unstable local currencies. This "digital gold" narrative is often contrasted with traditional banking systems and fiat currencies, emphasizing Bitcoin's potential to democratize finance and give people more control over their money. People understand and learn from bitcoin not because we tell them to do so, but because they do it with their own interest and eagerness to learn. So if there is self-motivation, anyone can learn successfully about bitcoin and its essence. No need to push people to do it because if they have real intention to learn and prioritize bitcoin, they will do it with their due diligence.

At some point, people understand Bitcoin because there is someone teaching them about it.  Not all people are capable of learning Bitcoin and its basics easily.  They need someone to teach them especially when it comes to the technical aspects of Bitcoin such as creating a wallet, securing a wallet, and how the process is done.  Many people fail to comprehend some things if it is too complicated for them so there is still a need for a lecturer to make it easy for the newcomer to set up their participation to the Bitcoin economy.

Bitcointalk is only an avenue for learning, learning takes courage and patience as well so you will continue to learn step by step until you get the whole idea of bitcoin. And once you get there, you will never become fearful and even greedy anymore investing in bitcoin.

I agree in addition learning also needs interest and passion since there is always this difficult stage in learning Bitcoin and many have given up on this because of a lack of interest and passion to continue.

Taking Bitcoin as an investment is a wrong mentality and i don't know where people get that idea from, bitcoin shouldn't be was taken as some form of get-rich-quick scheme, because it takes a whole lot more than that to gain from Bitcoin.
And the first thing one should get before considering Bitcoin is the knowledge of what Bitcoin is and stands for and also what is the best approach to getting into Bitcoin, is not just on to have the money to buy Bitcoin,  but first you must have the fundamental knowledge of how to secure your Bitcoin and improve for wallet security for long term usage, in such a way that even if you don't access the wallet for a long period, with your wallet private keys, you are good to go.

I want to add something: the only approach should be to explain Bitcoin instead of Bitcoin investment when you are introducing Bitcoin to a new guy. When he completely understands how Bitcoin and its price work, he might make a decision by himself. He would realise whether he should invest in Bitcoin or not. I just prefer him to follow the chart and even read the old chart as well. If you want to convince someone of Bitcoin as an investment opportunity at the beginning, he will take it negatively. So be simple and informative to reach new people regarding the Bitcoin explanation.

Bitcoin investment is certainly high risk - so it's normal that someone would be afraid of losing their money. In my country - people work 6-8 hours a day for a salary that only covers most of their needs. They can set aside a small amount for savings or invest in low-risk assets - so of course they will not easily invest in high-risk assets like bitcoin without good knowledge.

If you want to tell them about bitcoin investment - take a good approach. I'm sure they won't understand it on the first meeting - but if you're good enough at providing insight and explanation, maybe they'll ask you to teach them how.

I actually pick people to introduced BTC, like my friend who's good at gambling and due to high amount of winnings he's planning what to do with the winning money so I introduced to him BTC as investment. By just simply telling it's worth profiting it would get them curious of course warned them about the risk
Me either, it's frustrating before when there seemed to be people looking interest in Bitcoin but then you just get tired telling and introducing it.
As I am picking, there's no one that's approaching him despite they're risk takers as well.
I'm just trying to avoid them or they're trying to avoid me because I'm giving so much space away from them because I don't think it's worth it to talk to them if it's related to Bitcoin.

Before I explain it to someone who asks me to explain it to them I always check on them to see if it is worth my time or not. There are times that they won't listen so it is useless to explain to them what bitcoin is and I am not that kind of person who will really push them to invest I only want those people who are really interested in it so that my time and effort won't go to waste.
If they don't listen to you in the first place, that's not encouraging already. Because if they ask questions and literally are interested to know the answer.
Then, they will have to listen to you but if you have noticed that they are not keen in listening, that's when you decide to just stop and don't get interested about them anymore.

Right now it is better to send video links or blogs explaining bitcoin to those who asked you about it because they can understand more about it and it won't make you frustrated explaining it to someone. There are a lot of videos right now online that can be watched by anyone just give them the link and let them watch.
I agree, this saves both of your time.
