shiba may be pretty good but as you said, shiba once reached their highest ATH last month and their cycle of reaching new ATH is once a year and it seems this year will be very difficult for them to reach new ATH again for this year.
On the other hand I've never doubted what the community is doing behind it, but there has to be something great or a big pump to reach a new ath again.

that is the reality, without a strong and large community it is impossible for cryptocurrencies to have value and survive in the market. i see doge and shiba have a fairly large support community but i'm not interested in buying it because i believe more in bitcoin and other altcoins.

yes in my opinion community is everything in the crypto world, we can get clearer and more accurate information in the community. But i still believe..people who are the believer of bitcoin will still hold bitcoin even if they hold another coin. You cannot attract another community to support your project; it means you need to build your own community so that people will keep on supporting you even in hard times. Most project are trying to exploit the community of bitcoin which is the reason when they are not performing well people are easily switching over to some other project.

At the same time, if a community is is built up by the showing real potential of a project then that project will get continuous support which is more important than just having a bigger community.
