Good news here. Japan accept to pay salary by bitcoin, it is so convenient for Japanese. Hope it will happen in my country.
The use of bitcoin in Japan is already legalized and the companies are now free to use it in any kinds of payment. But what I know about paying salary in bitcoin in that country is only optional and the employees can recieve salaries in bitcoin if they only wanted to. Japan is always the leader when it comes to bitcoin adoption in this part of Asia and just recently it grants self-regulatory status to its cryptocurrency industry. I hope the other countries including mine will follow the steps taken by Japan someday.
"If" and only "if". I agree that it's good if all other countries will accept cryptocurrency as part of their financial system. Unfortunately, this is still a hole wall and is not that widely accepted yet. It will be great for the economy I think if they will though. Just look at how strong is the economy of Japan, right?

I'm not surprised, Japan is always one step ahead compared to other countries.
Personally I'm not sure that I would be very happy with my salary paid in bitcoin because the price is volatile. I could profit but lose also and I would never know on how much money exactly I can count. That is why I prefer bitcoin as an additional income and my regular salary to be paid in fiat money.

I think their salary is adjusted to the salary standard in their country in the form of Japanese Yen and they convert it into bitcoin. there are some condition for using bitcoin in Japan. for example there is a maximum limit for a purchase in bitcoin and everyone has to pay taxes for the income in bitcoin.
