Most of the biggest bitcoin companies will probably offer their employees an option to get paid in bitcoin but i don't think there would be many if any normal companies offering this yet because it means they would have to purchase btc just to pay employees so it would not be financially viable.

I get paid some of my wage in btc so i dont have to pay big buy fees but that is all done via a 3rd party company.

in my country only few company can give bitcoin as salary, maybe only 3company, but the owner give option to receive salary in fiat, not forcing to pay in bitcoin.

Recently there was an article in newspaper that some It company in Ireland is paying a part of the paycheck in Bitcoins. I forgot the name of the company but I think more and more such copmanies might follow their example.

Once you have service providers like bitwage established in your country, any company will be able to pay you in Bitcoin.
It is no big deal really.

I don't see any profit and interest in paying by bitcoins in such well known and rich campaigns that you called here. Price for bitcoin is not stabile. Just five days ago it lost more that 100$ Cause of Bitfinex hacking. For example a company pay you 1btc per month and one month you get like 1000$ and another 500$. Will it be fair for you? I don't think so. But here there are tans if campaigns that pay not bad money for commenting. I think it is the best variant if you wish to get salary in bitcoins. You don't invest so much salary. Your rank is high, must be you know that without all those words.

I never heard of or have read of companies or a company that pays his employee with bitcoins.  Maybe one day, companies will give a choice to their employees if they want their salary a bitcoin or cash.  Let us wait for that day when bitcoin will be included or be part of the currency being used today.

I'm not sure, never worked at these companies. Microsoft may at one point have allowed payment in bitcoin, but probably not any more. But why use that when you can use bitwage? Grin
nope i think they do not accept bitcoin as a payment. even they themselves may not know about bitcoin. they are not related to bitcoin so it was quite natural that they do not accept bitcoin
you're definitely wrong, you could add money in your microsoft account with bitcoin and it had been explained here https://commerce.microsoft.com/PaymentHub/Help/Right?helppagename=CSV_BitcoinHowTo.htm by microsoft officially which mean they're accepting bitcoin as part of their business so there's still a possibility

It will be great when companies like these adopt such measures.

Overstock is such a company. It pays the employee with bitcoin.  It might also issue stocks with block chain.

I don't like the idea that being able to buy a bmw today, and hyundai the other day. Bitcoin is too damn volatile. Unless they fix it, (i know there is nothing to fix tho) it is a bad idea to use bitcoin as a default currency.

%99 (at least) of the People will just convert their money into FIAT anyway. You can't stop it. If you think that %1 is very important for bitcoin's future, i don't know.

When the Bitcoin achieve more adoption and stability this will become more common. There are currently few places accepting the currency and a lot of volatility.
yeah, i think in the future more and more people and companies will be accepting bitcoin in order to attract more people to their goods who actually use bitcoins

Personally I don't know anyone who receive payment in bitcoin for his daily job. But I've seen some info about that around the web, you can read more:

https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/canadian-companies-start-paying-employees-bitcoin/

or

http://www.coindesk.com/companies-paying-employees-bitcoin/

That's interesting but unfortunately it's only technology-related companies. I can't wait to see the day where supermarket employees will be able to be paid in Bitcoin. Also that's surprising that a big parts of the companies that the two press articles talk about are from Canada.

Some time ago Microsoft USA accepted  bitcoin for their BTC i read.

Not sure if they still accept it.

Ah my bad.

Paying salaries in bitcoin will not happen this coming years. Bitcoins volatitly prevents it.

Ask yourself, would you take such huge volatiliy risks and end up paying your employees 30% more?

Salary payment is end of the month prompt. No chance to hold it a few more days to cut losses.

I was talking about companies that pay his employees in Bitcoin, not that accept Bitcoin as a way of payment.
Ask yourself if you still base it in USD rate and just pay thru bitcoin will it cost anything? I bet no. Would be great if companies just pay thru bitcoin even the rate is in USD since it will still help the community to get demand.

I would not be able to work for a company that pays in Bitcoin because that means that you salary is not stable at all.
You salary will only be stable when the price of the Bitcoin it self is stable ass well.

It may have some companies paying with bitcoin, but those company are developers companies soo they get paid in bitcoin and they should pay with it to developers, but i dont believe big companies will even think about it, as they can get pissed when they make a payment of 2000 dollars, around 4 btc and then price up and it worth 4000dollars, even with they purchasing bitcoin at daily price and making the payment like that they will do the match.

I was wondering if any of the biggest companies in the world (Microsoft, Dell, Apple, Mc Donald...) accept to pay his employees in Bitcoin. If none actually propose it, it's sad because it's still impossible to live outside the fiat system Sad.
So, do you know one ? Or do you know a small/medium company around where you live that do this ? As for me I do not.
I do not know any companies that pay in Bitcoin but to be honest I do not think that it is really handy because of bills and food that you have to pay with money.
I only would do it if you are able to pay you bills as well with Bitcoin.
I have seen reports from users who are managing to pay the bills using Bitcoin. This is probably not something that is possible in all countries, but over time it will certainly be one of the results of Bitcoin's expansion.

When Bitcoin achieve more adoption and stability this will become more common. There are currently few places accepting the currency and there is still a lot of volatility.

i think that it is too early to ask for that because bitcoin is not that popular yet to companies to pay their workers in bitcoins, i think they will play in 5 years
