One big reason about companys doesnt pay with bitcoin is the volatility of bitcoin as the fact you must exchange your bitcoin into fiat since you cant buy a potato with bitcoin yet.The other side is if you earn 2000dollars and you got paid on that day base ,and next day bitcoin drop you will get pissed as hell, and if the bitcoin up on the next day the boss will get pissed as well soo these are maybe the questions about being paid or not with bitcoinl
That is why you have to exchange your bitcoins to FIAT almost instantly after receiving your payment if you want to to keep value of your wage on the same level.
It is not so hard, and 95% of bitcoin accepting merchants are doing it anyway. The good side of it is that you can exchange say, 70% of your wage and keep the rest stored as investment!

its really hard to find company that pay their worker with bitcoin, and if you really want to live outside of fiat system you need to try to work on website that hiring service ,probably they'll gladly pay you with bitcoin
But If you that kind of company means that very good and powerful way right. and those kind of companies are doing salary payment to employees to reduce their transaction fees for banking system. If this BTC system comes to large number of MNCs means Bank will sure get affect.

Bitcoin is not not much popular in my country but i have a question.
How can the employer be sure that he is not loosing by investing then paying in bitcoin their employees.
Should he pay fixed bitcoin amount or flexible bitcoit amount based on the currect bitcoin price?

I think it should be flexible. But in order to put a such thing in practice, employer have to buy it the same day as payday.

I do not know any company that offers salaries in terms of bitcoins and I do not expect it to happen very soon. The reason I am saying this is because the top companies do not want to spoil the reputation they have spend time and resources building. Bitcoin is still tainted the picture of being used by criminals and therefore just accepting it anyhow. There are also other persons who do not like trading with bitcoins and therefore they won t be able to support such like argument.

In most countries, this is illegal. Since there are taxes and various charges on salaries, they must be in the currency which is legal tender, and that excludes BTC. But you can easily get your salary wired to a company which will exchange your fiat into BTC. At least one person on this board is doing that.

Even if it is illegal, laws can pass and thus make it not illegal. If enough people make pression on the government, they will start to accept taxes in Bitcoin because they can't miss so easy money.

It depends what the company is. If it is a bitcoin company, say coinbase, it would probably give the option, as everyone is smart enough to have a basic idea of what the company root work for is all about.

But somewhere like MacDonalds? I really don't feel that have an incentive now l nor need to switch to bitcoin
MacDonalds is doing just fine paying out in fiat.

they can declare at the end of the years their income in bitcoin, i see no problem with that, i'm not sure how it would work if there is no exchange with fiat

bitcoin should not be taxable without dumping them firstly for fiat...

You can always buy Bitcoin with your paycheck so i dont see any problem there. In my country you cant be paid in dollars or euros for example, you can only take local currency and change it for any other.
oh yeah, thats possible. The thing is that we want to cut loose of the Fiat currency, getting paid in BTCBTC is the only way that can help us away from Fiat currency.

I find that buying bitcoins is not an easy task. Also, being paid directly in bitcoins saves you money from transaction fees.

If buying Bitcoins is hard task in your country, selling is also hard i guess. So how you would pay your bills and food there if you are paid in Bitcoins? I like better to be paid in local currency than in Bitcoins for sure, that way i can pay my bills and with surplus i can buy Bitcoins no problem.

That's right, paying bills and food is hard with Bitcoin. Bills is impossible, but food is still possible. I'd like to take the risk because I'm sure that Bitcoin price will skyrocket in a few (a lot of) years (decades).

Yeah, you're definitely right... paying bills and food is hard with Bitcoin.

Not everyone accepts Bitcoin like they accept a dollar. Better have a dollar! Smiley

if any company wants to pay in bitcoin then i think the payout will also vary on every payday because due to heavy fluctuation of bitcoin price how can he fix a pay which values differently on each payday. so i think it will be good only for daily wager pay. if any site is paying for online job in bitcoin , then i am also ready for that work.

So, do you know one ? Or do you know a small/medium company around where you live that do this ? As for me I do not.

We are on the spectrum of the "smallest companies in the world"...

Any incoming bitcoins to Bees Brothers immediately gets paid out as wages to 3 teenage boys and their little sister (different ratios for each depending on their labor contributions ... not according to needs  Wink...).
They have also started hiring part-time help and have offered them to receive wages in bitcoin, but so far they hired help has wanted fiat.

A few times they have used bitcoin to pay for business expenses or equipment, but mostly we use fiat for that, and they keep the bitcoin.

It's surprising to see Canadian companies adopting bitcoin currency. Many companies here pay vouchers or gift cards in exchange of the tax we need to pay but to get an entire salary as bitcoins is not acceptable for me as the price keeps fluctuating a lot. I cannot take any losses when I exchange it for fiat but I can accept it as a token or in exchange of the taxes I pay.

It is good for companies to pay their employees with bitcoin is there is no extra tax is involved. This will increase the value of bitcoin.
But this is not going to happen in near future need too much time as many developing countries are worrying about bitcoin and try to ban or some stick restrictions but we need to be very positive for this
There cannot be global consensus on the bitcoin ban. So even if it is banned, it technically isn't banned. They really cannot enforce this ban either to stop people from owning bitcoins. They can only ban people from acquiring bitcoins, which would create a black market. We've seen how that shit goes with drugs nowadays.

However getting salaries in bitcoin won't happen in the near future, however there are services that convert your entire salary to bitcoin.

I am yet to hear of any company that pay in bitcoins. they are yet to accept it but with time I believe they will use it especially the technological based companies. If you read this and you are an employer, why dont you consider paying with bitcoins? maybe you could answer that question better. And if you dont have a good reason not to, then you should start paying using bitcoin. lets join hands and promote it for better value
