Since i am quite a geeky type  Grin, i would love to know about bitcoin mining but the requirments i found are beyond my scope. I just dont wanna earn with it, i want to get involved in the whole process.

If you are interested in “bitcoin mining” then those words should be keywords on search engine, and I am sure you will get hundreds of relevant results. At the very top of the search is this link How Does Bitcoin Mining Work?, and there you can read everything that interests you, practically answers all your questions.

But if you want a direct answer, BTC mining is reserved for big players these days, because the equipment is quite expensive and you need very cheap electricity. In other words, if you don't have thousands of $ that you can risk for one such venture, it's better to opt for something else - maybe for crypto trading?

We also have Mining board on the forum - I'm sure you can find a lot of good information there too Wink
You can go on the Mining board but consider that it is expensive to start mining BTC, much more than altcoins, but if you are geeky i guess you can research that yourself and find the best solution

Well, welcome to the forum. What do you want to learn BTW?

I suggest to learn first the forum rules and regulations here in the forum. After that you can ask anything in the beginners and help section for any inquiries related to cryptocurrency or even if it is not.

Learn what is cryptocurrency all about like the bitcoin and its altcoins. Then of course if you wanted to get a crypto coins then search how on what coin crypto you want and how to store it. I suggest to buy bitcoin for it is the main coin in the market. Storing bitcoin needs a digital wallet and you should know what it is all about especially the addresses which address to be kept and should be back up in case you will lost it.

Then learn also how to buy coin in the market/exchange. All things especially if done in the first time should be done in small amount that you can afford to lose.
