Eventually as its always been look forward to not just by those bitcoin users but to all in general, adoption will take place. Though its a slow pace its going to happen. Some governments are already on its way to make use of blockchain, finance institutes are also joining the market which is a good sign already. If it weren't for those who are greedy to dump, investors would have been staying.

If only ICOs be limited to those that have real product and usage. There's a lot of useless projects nowadays. Some scam. That's why investors are afraid to invest now. Get rid of scam projects. Then investors will come invest into crypto.

Its a business platform. As long as its going to be profiting, yes people are going to have more confidence in crypto currencies. The confidence is seen from the marketcap of each coin. Volumes and marketcap is increasing day by day. This is the sign of more confidence investers have in crypto currencies.

I have tried to ask myself this question many times: What can be done to restore and foster investors' confidence in cryptocurrency?
There have been several incidences, most especially as regards the issues of hack of exchanges and several other forms of stolen funds, which has in turn cause down trend at some points in the crypto space.
These incidences have made a lot of people to be at their wit ends, not knowing what to do.

If I should ask everyone what can be done to foster confidence, we will all have different things to say. Nonetheless, suggestions are welcome, but before that, I just feel that regulation is part of the main language that can restore.
Aside that, if exchanges have not started the process of insuring the funds on users on their platform, it will be good they start that.

Regulation will probably be the biggest factor for a great influx of investors. Confidence right now is pretty fickle, especially with how many people lost money during the 2018 correction so investors are going to look for reasons on why they'll take the risk. Having your government back up definitely boosts that. There has to be compromise for crypto and governments for this to work.

To be sure you need regulation. There will be fewer scams. Take even the ICO how many people lost money because the technology is not perfect.
The regulatory process itself will not be able to be implemented until a broad market infrastructure is built.

To get investors back to invest by continuing to make positive news. Many people experience fraud and of course, we have to be more careful in making transactions. Now the market is able to pump and market prices are also very positive. I think if investors see current conditions, they will be more interested in investing.

It's not easy because there is much news that will come out and I don't think that there is much positive news because in the bear market now, there will be too many negative news that will want to make people panic. But it does not stop the investor to come back to the crypto because of they still confident in cryptocurrency and they still want to make a profit from the crypto.

It's only a matter of time before we can see many of them will come again into crypto, and I am sure that it will happen from this year. So let we wait what will happen later.

Regulation could help it and also can ruin it. Investors have different perspective why they are investing in some ICOs some of it are due to smaller tax fee which if regulated I am pretty sure those law crocodiles will ask for additional tax to gain some bucks out of it. So I'm thinking of an alternative solution aside from being controlled by someone else.

Providing positive news can add investors back and trust will be good. This needs to be done in order to develop existing assets and potential.
Believing that crypto can grow must be done so that crypto will develop more widely.

There is no such thing as confidence in the cryptocurrency because there are no future on the cryptocurrency. Just don't invest in the cryptocurrency.

Regulation as you already stated is one.
More infrastructure is another.

Maybe reduce the hype around crypto and focus more on the development of legit projects.

Nice topic. In my opinion, since crypto is known worldwide already and been accepted by many I guess it’s better for cryptocurrency to be added in curriculum of Commision of Education, a course to take maybe. It’s a good idea to educate first the people before using it to avoid getting deceived and hacked in the future.Andmore numbers of countries accepting crypto as time comes will be a great help for investors confidence to invest back again on it.

I will never loss my confidence, crypto is still here it's not the only time that it's down, it has been many times but it always recover.

Maybe newbie would think that it's the end of crypto but in reality is not, look at the bright side also so you can analyze things properly, there's plenty of good news and some of them are big that will impact the future of crypto, price maybe bearish now, but this is not gonna last.

What you mentioned above is not really the reason why investors are losing hope, the main reason is the big manipulation in crypto last year, what can really boost investors confidence is when the crypto world start appreciating and we start seeing another all time hight
that will only give hope for short time, until next crash and crypto will be marked forever as only a toy for whales.

Aside that, if exchanges have not started the process of insuring the funds on users on their platform, it will be good they start that.
Even if we have regulations still there are scammers going to scam people so the people need to change to stop being scammed. And I don't think these hacks of exchange played major role in the price decline because it is nothing new to the crypto field we are seeing the exchanges got hacked for long time.

since regulations is not the ultimate answer to prevent these scammers to proliferate. maybe another answer is, investors should stop sending their money to these projects. because if these projects will not get money from these gullible users, they will stop trying. but i doubt it will ever happen. because of people's greed to earn profit, they will always look for possible project that might answer their needs.

but i do think that ICO hype is subsiding already as many people were cheated last year. so they are now cautious to their investments. the reason why STO or IEO are now going mainstream.

The year may be difficult to restore investor confidence because there is no security for the ICO and is often carried away by the team, but I do not know whether in the future anyone can overcome the fraudulent ICO.
But with the latest development in the crypto and that will give investors more confidence to invest in the crypto again, there was a way that called IOE that will become a trend in the cryptocurrency. that will be the safest way to invest in ico.
