I don't think that paypal will start working with cryptocurrencies until they are fully legalized, because so big companies are most likely very careful in their relations with the financial regulator and will not risk it. It is possible that this news will be refuted in the near future. I hope this news will be true.
This is really a good news for the crypto world, I was really happy about this news when I heard about it finally the adoption we talking about is really gonna happening, hopefully others to follow suite
I would only think they are into blockchain but not cryptocurrency though, they strongly disallow everything with crypto years ago but now that they are up to blockchain will they now allow buying BTC or any other cryptocurrencies through paypal? Or will they just create blockchain for the USD?
I would think they would just be looking into blockchain, chargebacks and buying bitcoin with PayPal is always going to be an issue to to chargebacks. If they are interested in just blockchains and not the cryptocurrency that drives it would not be news at all. Most companies are looking into utilizing blockchain technology and how it can benefit their company.

is this news really valid? I think Paypal has made a policy not to involve bitcoin or crypto at all.
so I don't know that this news is true or just lead to opinion.
but if paypal can contrubine as the news says, this is a big thing that can boost the growing market.

I din think PayPal coming into crypto is a good fit. Although it would be huge with their market share they have in their respective market I fear we would be moving towards centralization which is exactly what crypto stands against.
You are making a good point here, because PayPal may not work in a decentralized way, but even at that I also believe there will also be improvement in adoption of cryptocurrency.

Have you never thought that PayPal's steps to join Crypto can actually make crypto sink even further? we know that paypal is a large online transaction platform, while crypto is created to be an alternative that is easier than paypal, and when paypal joins now, it is not impossible crypto will be under the shadow of paypal.
In any case, you need to have a positive attitude towards such a step. Combining cryptocurrency with other types of cashless payments is inevitable.
