@Tompson
It is OK but not forget about Cryptsy and Hitbit - I am not very convinced to MP anymore...

I think those two are even better than MP.

I could use a little visibility if you agree with this post.
Droves of what I suspect are payed downvoters are censoring what gets visibility & what doesn't lately.
Standard social media manipulation.

------------------------------------------

"Bitlicense" may be a testing of the waters...

Bitlicense may be a testing of the waters by our global financial & political lawmakers.

If we accept this threat without ORGANIZING & innovating workarounds to this spanking we just received, they will roll this out in country after country. All of a sudden darkwallet, darkmarket & darkcoin don't seem so threatning, do they ? An NSA list of all bitcoin users' IP addresses is unacceptable.

We also need a bitcoin foundation alternative. It's time to organize as if we were a lawyers bar association or an International Monetary Council. Bitcoin's opponents are highly organized & are all on the same page. If bitcoin fails, could we say we did everything in our power to bring it to the rest of the world ?

Without open incorruptible non-debt based money, the world's poorest 3 billion have no hope at all for the future...

This is a really big deal actually & I want to be able to say I did my best to help.

Thanks ConspiracyCoiners

I'm digging at Rav3n's p2pool - it's working fine now.

Yeah,

Good choice.

Already explained. Bitcoin is still considered beta - standards are still developing. There are many versions of Stratums - no standards between them.

We have developed a solution to prevent future stratum issues and will do a release in a few days - doing tests at the moment. The solution has been technically, challenging.

Any pools I can move to?

You can mine days and nights this coin on a pool, it will stay stuck on block 50000. There is a 'trick' every 5000 blocks. Above posts will be helpful.

I've seen your post - Indeed updating the mined address on the daemon side can't work (not a stratum issue); p2pools generate a lot of addresses; And this is not what we want with the 'POW' concept. Blackcoin has a bad move too, with their 20% fee (they can't trick POW block too...); former coins: litecoin, feathercoin, franko... doge... don't have this issue, and are still fair.

Anyway describing this behavior at the beginning is better (page 1).

P2pool is now ok (at least my nodes)

p2pool-eu.gotgeeks.com:9441 <- VPS in Germany
p2pool-us.gotgeeks.com:9441 <- VPS in USA/New Jersey
p2pool.gotgeeks.com:9441 <- AWS europe (UK/Dublin?)
rav3n.dtdns.net:9441 <- my home machine (PL), can`t guarantee 24/7

All are 1%

do all these p2pool nodes work together or are they each separate?
They all connected. Use closest to you (by ping) as primary and another one as secondary.
Or start your own node!
ATM P2pool has 9 nodes (according to number of my connections).
You can find thiers IP on /pings page (ie: p2pool-eu.gotgeeks.com:9441/pings ).
Pings are count for node ure checking.

Some pools haven't updated for a long time.
