Strong risk of delisting on CoinExchange.io and complete destruction of value for those who hold coins on the old chain if shit isn't solved soon, coin swap initiated etc.

Coming up on 6 months since the "launch" of the new version, but windows users still can't mine and old coin users still can't even transfer their coins to an exchange to trade, let alone coin swap.

Getting pretty fucking discouraged here....

Development Plan

1. Create the new chain and start the coin swap
2. Disperse the unclaimed coins by way of faucets/bounties/air drops
3. Get listed on major exchanges and expand Coochie community
4. Contact adult themed sites to start getting Coochie accepted as a form of payment

maybe this looks better  Wink

I have contacted another dev and he is going to give all the code and everything a good look though to see if he can pinpoint the problem. He is really good in the coin space so hopefully there will be a solution very soon!

dev how much is it cost as a bounties for someone to help fix old coochie wallet?
I'm planning on sending some $ cooc as a donation.

After the old wallet is repaired, can we no longer waste time and directly do SWAP?

when can you start working on a web office and build a community? / facebook, twitter, etc

we must start moving, we are tired to keep waiting.

I am still trying to figure out the problem 100%. It seems like the wallets keep crashing when there is a fork in the chain. For example, when 2 people submit a block at almost the exact same time one usually gets orphaned and everything keeps running normally. But for some reason when that is happening on this coin it causes the wallet to just crash and keep erroring instead of kicking out the incorrect blocks and syncing with the main chain. The wallet crashing problem is solved everytime by clearing out the chain that is saved on my computer and by re-syncing.

Purely implementing Coochie as a payment coin will only result in it fading into the distance at this rate.

There is sexcoin, fapcoin, tittiecoin with similar ideas but then spankchain, vicetoken, stasyQ tokenisinq payment and reward services on their own blockchain rendering an alternate coin or token redundant.

Is the team going to return to see the project through, this would be the time to do it, the crypto space is filling by the day.

Alright, to move forward I need some help. Anyone with good dev experience/knowledge please send me a PM.

There biggest issue that I do not know how to get past is getting the old chain moving again. The last person that got it stuck with an ASIC really got it stuck and I am not able to get it moving again despite my efforts.

The second issue is getting the new wallet to not mysteriously close for no reason.

These are the 2 biggest issues currently. After these 2 issues can get solved there is nothing but blue sky ahead of us.

For the swap this is all we need to begin. Once both chains are stable I am going to setup a burn address and have people send their coins to that burn address. There will be very detailed instructions on how to do this after both chains are stable. Then I can get in contact with the exchanges to get the new chain listed.

Again, any help from an experienced dev/coder would be amazing.

next day update:  wallet now syncs on all PCs.  Mining is possible again, though the wallet did crash during mining on one of the PCs.  Not sure what caused it.  Wallets on the other PCs haven't crashed yet during mining.  Time will tell.....

EDIT:  wallet crashed on a 2nd PC..............now it keeps crashing upon restart every single time when it tries to sync....

Was the new wallet supposed to fix the windows version crashes?  Something still seems to be up.........

EDIT #2:  Crashed again on all 3 PCs, and now wallet won't sync, even when I delete everything except the wallet and conf files and try to re-sync.

Fix for this needed, when possible.....

Alright everyone, there is a new windows wallet link posted on the OP. Everyone try to use that wallet. If your wallet is still crashing follow the steps below!

1. Find your appdata/roaming coochie folder.
2. Delete everything except your wallet.dat and your coochie.conf
3. Re-open the wallet and let it re-sync the chain.

Always be sure to check the current nodes on the OP for the latest nodes that are working.

Let me know if any of you have any issues.

Great update!  Wallet is stable (have yet to try mining, though) ---- any progress on getting the old chain unstuck?  My old coochie coin wallet still won't sync.  Can't wait until we can all get on the new chain with old coins carried forward, and fully launch the new Coochie!

EDIT:  Quick update on functionality of the new wallet --- upon initial launch, the wallet started to sync and showed the message "Synchronizing with Network" on the bottom.........when it got to "12 hours behind", it got stuck there and wouldn't make any more progress.  When I closed the wallet and re-opened it, now it doesn't display "Synchronizing with Network" on the bottom and it still shows the message "out of sync" in red, and despite having 4 network connections, won't sync up-to-date.  Tried this on 3 PCs with the same results.  Two computers got to "13 hours behind" before sync progress stopped, and the other got to "12 hours behind".

I've manually added the nodes listed in the 1st post, so I do have the most  up-to-date nodes.  Should we be able to sync at this point?

Alright, I have been talking to people and things should start moving forward again soon! Rest assured that my silence is never a sign that I am not working to make all of this happen. I am very dedicated to this project and I already have a lot invested into it behind the scenes. All of my current coin holdings have been mined by myself and I will never sell a single coin until I have this project up to 100% functionality. Keep hanging in there guys!
