Been really busy in RL lately, haven’t read much of the gambling section. Only just back from the Madrid Champions League Final.
I'd guess so too, considering the plans you had for the final, hope you enjoyed your trip, and of course congratulations to you! A well deserved compensation for the disappointment you might have had after traveling all the way to Kiev last year.

I will join if we get 5 or 6 more participants. If there’s around 10 I will pay & join.

I think we'll hit double digits with the number of participants.

snip.

I still don't know what's wrong here, really.

I just saw Big daddy's application, that means it's probably something with your account, I guess.
Did you get the invitation I sent ?

I've downloaded the Superbru app, signed up and joined the Copa America 2019 Bitcoin pool
I will send the Entry Fee 0.002BTC by next week

Thanks for showing interest,

I'll accept the application once your transaction is being broadcasted to pool address.

The code "ANEWFEUD" works just fine, I don't know what's happened in your case. But an invitation has been sent to you 😄

Welcome aboard; and Good luck!

Sorry to be a bummer, but it simply isn't working. Tried clearing cookies, relogging in and even from my mobile. ThenI also tried clicking on your invite from email, copy pasted the PW and nope. I've joined pools already obviously so my account should be fine.

On the bright side, the congestion's really eased off on the Bitcoin network. My tx is still unconfirmed but only 3k++ transactions away. Got to love these periods of down time.

Whoops sorry guys. I'm usually much better at reading instructions than this! Might be tough to get more people in the pool but I'll remember to mention it in some of the other threads! Maybe Copa is a distraction but it is a short one along with Nations league... People need their football fix, don't they?

Make sure to mention this topic in other threads. I would never found my way here if the link wasn't posted in one of our pools (CL or PL one, don't remember). I will join the pool for sure, but probably next week. I have also managed to recruit one more player and probably two (both fellow countrymen, too bad Croatia isn't playing).

Hey guys, I've sent my payment. I am aware it isn't confirmed and will probably remain unconfirmed for a couple of days at least, but since the tourney's about 2 weeks away, I thought it could be a fun experiment to see how long a 1 sat/byte transaction confirms even with mempool at 22k as of this post.

It's RBF so I'll bump the fees up if we get worried, don't worry Wink

@LTU, Juggy: Yeah, been a great season for me so far, very low ratio of bets won to lost, but good profit margin!
The tx should get confirmed within a day or two. Remember to post the following info whenever you can so I can add a post for reference in the OP:

By the way the password "anewfeud" doesn't work? Doesn't let me enter the group. Could you send me an invite instead?

Good to see you on board brother. We need more participants. Come on guys, join us and let's have some fun as we chase some BTC to win. Join today!

About the 1 sat/B, this will be confirmed anytime and you will see it will be earlier than you though 🙂

I would suggest everyone to use 1 or 2 sat/B tx fees since there are not hurry for us to get the tx confirmed.

@tomahawk, yup I really like to swing for the fences. Qatar started the AFC as a huge underdog and dark horse, they trained behind closed doors and no one knew who their players were even. They probably won't even get far but hey, the game is full of mysteries these days;)

@RapTarX: You're probably right and I have no disrespect at all for Latin American teams, but I as well think they have fallen far from the days when they were super strong in the 90s and noughties.

Qatar didn't exactly play "low teams" as you call them. Beating Japan and South Korea en route to cup was no mean feat, and they had a 100% win record too. If they win against Paraguay and lose against Argentina, there's a good chance they progress, and they won't meet Argentina in the QF if so;)

@buwaytress nothing is impossible these days as many times underdogs are causing big upsets, and hence I am thinking of placing a small bet on Qatar to progress ahead and cause upsets. While Argentina is my second favourite team to win this cup, but at times they have shown they’re vulnerable and can be defeated hence there’s always a possibility of upset being caused. Also I feel I’ll get pretty high odds on Qatar, and that’s one more reason for me to place bets on them.

Yeah, Qatar performance was huge surprise in AFC. Until this tournament they didn't had any big achievements and never played in World Cup. I'm wondering how they managed to improve in very short period of time. Especially considering that they don't have stars in their squad and almost all their players playing in Qatar league. I don't have big expectations from them in Copa America, but it will be interesting to watch them.

Free bump + notifications for me so that i don't forget about this thread. Count me in, since summer without football pool will be kind of boring. Don't know much about South American teams but the amount isn't much so it will be for fun probably. I'll officially join as soon as I get my reword for Champions League pool, since all my other BTC is tied up (alts, exchanges, cold storage).

Another day, another competition, and one of my favourites. I've decided to register my interest here, but I'll only make the payment some time next week if that's okay. Gonna wait til mempool's down below 10k for a bit. Good to see some of you guys from the other pools!

Just found out last night too that Japan and Qatar are invited to play, it does feel a little weird to be honest, but these were the finalists of the last AFC, which was a really profitable tournament for me, so I'll take my chances and back Qatar to win this one too, even though they open with Argentina!

Apparently, this isn't even the first time Japan was invited either, but it's a first for a Middle East team.

I'll join the pool after paying.
In AFC, Qatar faced low team than Copa America, there has team like Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile. I don't get how you even think Qatar to lift this trophy. I giess they will be out from the 1st round.
