Brazil's current performance has to be paid dearly because they will face Uruguay, which is a strong team, while Colombia will face Panama. Even though it is important for Brazil to achieve first place in order to avoid being ranked first in another group. It must be admitted that the old Brazil no longer exists. They have lost their roots and are hungry for glory. So I don't think Brazil can win against Uruguay in the Quarter Finals.

To be honest, in this Copa America, I don't really favor Brazil in the race for the trophy, maybe Argentina will still retain the Copa America trophy because their performance is still solid and strong. Even though Brazil has good and talented players, it's just that the coach isn't that good, maybe it's time for Brazil to be humble, throw away their ego, and bring in a coach from outside Brazil to welcome the 2026 World Cup.

In last few years if we have decline in Brazilian soccer, but we have amazing development in few teams with Columbia is also one of them with their streak of having no lost extending, and they are doing amazing stuff before this game I was having strong feeling they will be able to over through again Brazil, but sadly things were no favourable, and we have some problems into their finishing but still things were favourable for them, and they are having good result at the end which allow them to have top spot in their group.

Brazil which is having troubling time in last few years are trying their best for having good results, but sadly they are still having not good strategy for winning games against quality teams which is the big problem for them now they are going to face Uruguay which is also the toughest side in recent time, and it's not going to be easy for them without Vini Jr.

Brazil were really disappointing against Colombia. They should consider themselves lucky to get that draw with such a horrible performance. 

Considering the quarter final matchups:

- Argentina - Ecuador
- Venezuela - Canada
- Colombia - Panama
- Uruguay - Brazil

These are my predictions. Yeah I see Brazil out in this phase already unfortunately.    Because Uruguay look more stable to me. Brazil are quite unpredictable. By the way Vinicius Junior is going to miss this game as well because of being yellow card suspension. Uruguay are seen as the underdog of course however the gap of odds isn't that big.



I expect Venezuela - Canada also to be a really close one but I see Venezuela one step ahead because of their form. 

I am actually not surprised on waking this morning to see that Brazil and Colombia settled with draw. Sharing the points is a good way to settle it and both move to the next stage of the competition. But on the Brazil side, Vini Junior is going to miss their next match due to doubled yellow card. Also this is applicable to Lerma J who also share same fate with Vini Junior of Real Madrid.

Brazil playing without Neymar or Vini Junior who are their main samba warriors is going to be awful no doubt. But I hope they will scale through and Vini will rejoin to make history because Balloon D 'or is at hand.

Didn't surprise to see Brazil not win, but it's kind of disappointed to see Colombia didn't win, when they're dominating the match.

The quarter final will start in the next two days, here are my prediction:
Argentina vs Ecuador, Argentina will win.
Venezuela vs Canada, Venezuela will win.
Brazil vs Uruguay, draw, Brazil will qualify to the next round.
Colombia vs Panama, Colombia will win.

I predict the final would be Argentina vs Colombia, I see Colombia is the second strongest team in this season, they're a black horse this time.

Colombia is not also an easy team because I remembered the last time they met Brazil in the Copa America in 2015 they won Brazil by 1:0 and they also have great talented players even though Brazil has more quality players in their squad but we shouldn't underestimate the strength of the Columbia team. If Brazil and Colombia are the two strong teams in group D, I don't see why we should blame Brazil for getting a draw against Columbia despite that they were supposed to lead the group based on the quality of the team when compared to the rest of the countries in same group with them but Brazil is not playing an impressive game and they should be careful to avoid an early exit from the Copa America.

Uruguay is one of the major competitors of the Copa America alongside Argentina so it will not be a surprise if they win Brazil because Brazil have not really shown any signs that they are well prepared for this Copa America due to their level of performance so far

Brazil showed that they are a team with super high volatility and they have only won big against Paraguay and except that game they have showed nothing in the other 2 games.When you draw with Costa Rica it says a lot about the team and personally if there were a bet to bet on Brazil not winning the Copa America I would go all in for that bet.I am sure with such performance Brazil can never win the Copa America despite having big names like Vinicius Jr in their team.From what I have seen so far Argentina is the most compact team and the strongest favorite to win this Copa America season.It would be another success for Messi and co after winning the World Cup.

As a result of the second matches of the Cup America Group D, the teams that would advance to the next round were almost certain. It is now finalized as a result of the last matches played yesterday.
Colombia drew with Brazil and finished the group as leaders.
Despite his age, J.Rodriguez became the man of the match and played good football.
In the other match of the group, Costa Rica defeated Paraguay 2-1 and this was just a formality match.

Brazil got problems with their national team recent years not only in Coppa America 2024 this summer. Recent years, they did not have a top notch striker that they used to have in the past with Ronaldo, Adriano, Fabiano and attacking midfielders no longer have as same as high quality as the past generations. Attacking wing defenders have lower quality than previous generations with Cafu, Carlos, Marcelo, Dani Alves. Generally I can say Brazilian national team have many problems and some super star players like Vinicius Junior is too less to cover their whole team.

Uruguay had some disappointed tournaments recently when their legendary players like Forlan, Suarez, Cavani retired or experienced last years in their career. This Coppa America gives me a surprising performance of Uruguay and hope that they can win a first big title after many decades and also debut a new player generation in next several years to compete with Brazil and Argentina in Coppa America and other teams in World Cup.

I too am not at all satisfied with Brazil's overall performance. I expected to see a better performance from the Brazilian players. But Brazil completely failed to live up to my expectations.

The main two strong teams in Group D were Brazil and Colombia. However, Brazil managed to win only one match out of 3 matches. Brazil share points with Costa Rica and Colombia. Brazil have many star players in attack, but their performances have been poor.

Uruguay is a very strong team as we have already seen. Uruguay is one of the favorites for this year's Copa America title. So unless Brazil's performance improves, I don't see any chance of them winning against Uruguay.

Honestly speaking, the present Brazil squad has nothing to be proud of despite there are some big names in their squad. Their last two matches performance is enough reason for a calculative gambler to avoid them in any of their ticket.

Brazil is not suppose to be a team that relies on a single player like Vini Jr. Their entire performance has not been encouraging and judging from their display in today’s match and the previous one against Costa Rica, even with Vini featuring in their next match against Uruguay, I don’t see them winning unless there’s improvement to their pattern of play.

Brazil is not in the best shape this season and I think Brazil is not going to qualify for the semi-final of this tournament, after watching the match against Colombia yesterday I believe that Brazil is not going anywhere this season, we all know that Colombia is a very strong team with good players, even before I don’t think Brazil will be able to defeat Colombia because Colombia has been a very strong squad in this tournament and with players like Luiz Diaz, Jame Rodriguez and other good players is going to be very strong, I have watched Colombia matches and with that performances, they are very strong that Brazil can not defeat them.

Vinicius is going to miss the next match of Brazil after Picking another yellow card against Colombia, Brazil is playing the quarterfinal against Uruguay and we all know that Uruguay is the favorite to win the match because they have been a team with good performances in this tournament, Vinicius missing the match is going to affect the team because there is no other player that can play that position than him, although Rodrygo can play the position they are playing against Uruguay team the very strong team and that can defeat them in the tournament.

Brazil's performance against Colombia was not good. I would have been happy if Colombia had won this match. Because of this we saw the dominance of Colombia players throughout the match. Looking at Brazil's gameplay, I think Brazil played only to draw the match. Because if they lose in this match, it would be uncertain for Brazil to occupy the second place in the table.

Colombia players made 13 shots in the match, while Brazil players made 7. Brazil played completely attacking in the previous match as well. But today against a strong opponent, Brazil played a bit of a defensive strategy.

In the knockout round, Brazil is going to face the strong Uruguay team. The Uruguayan team is in a very strong position in this year's Copa. Uruguay's players played well in all three matches. It is now much more difficult for Brazil to secure a ticket to the semi-finals.

Brazilian performance in this event is looking better than past even things are still not as they needed for having things well under control, but now they are having three games with one win and two draw which mean they are trying to turn things for themselves even still it's not easy, but now we can expect better results in knockout round against Uruguay which is surely at his best.

Brazil is always having tag of favourite against opponents with this match is going to play at neutral spot so we have some good odds for both teams with most chances we will have this game going to be ended in extra time or penalties because I have strong feeling Uruguay will try their best for having spot into last four but now Brazilian spirit is also having positive change which can help them for having good results in remaining games of this event.

Brazil hasn't been at thier best performance this current season and it's even worse for vini jnr that did well in his club at real Madrid but his currently struggling to be productive in his country. It's a lot of responsibility at his shoulder that he hasn't really manned up to and the hype about the possibility of him winning the current edition of the balloon d'or is begining to become a question adventure. There draw against Columbia has landed them in the second place at there group and they will have have to face Uruguay in the quarter finals without vini jnr due to the second yellow card he has received In the tournament. Dude really has a lot to do outside of his plays because he has been booked too many times both in his club and country and I hope we don't get to see another version of Brazilian player like naymir jnr who was also an incredible player but wasn't quite the top class type due to injuries and some attitude and personal character issues..

It's not supposed to be a tough tournament for Brazil and Argentina but let's just watch how things unfold.

Brazil failed to maintain its victory after D. Muñoz changed the score to 1-1 before the end of the first half, as a result of failing to win over Colombia, Brazil had to settle for finishing in second place. Brazil which was previously expected to give their best performance in the Copa America this time, actually appeared sluggish, they were only able to achieve one win and two draws in the group stage, as a result of finishing in second place, they will face Uruguay in the quarter-finals.

Argentina is still the favorite team to win the Copa America this time based on the quality of play shown so far, they have qualified for the quarter-finals with perfect results and will face Ecuador. Argentina will be looking to give their best performance to win the 2024 Copa America, if they manage to win they will become the second team in football history to win the continental championship twice in a row and win the World Cup in between.

Spain still holds the record as the only team to have won the Euro Trophy consecutively and is accompanied by the world cup trophies they carved in 2008, 2010 and 2012. So, do you think Argentina is capable of achieving this extraordinary achievement by winning the Copa America in a row and being equipped with a world cup trophy in the middle?

The only question I have is why the brazil team is so strong and still treats so many colombia teams like this. Comparatively, according to the squad of the Brazilian team, there was a possibility of performing well enough in this match, then why did the Brazilian team perform so badly in their Copa America. Attacking in this match, the Brazilian team would have won massively, despite the presence of Vinicius Jr. and Rodrigo in the attacking department, they were unable to score. 

Had 13 kicks at the goal post, but only one attack was successful. Therefore, the Brazilian team currently only has a strong performance in name, basically they are now unable to perform even with normal teams.

I mean if they don't do anything then the odds for them to pass the knock-out round will be higher. Based on the result they will face Uruguay, who won all matches in their group stage. Interestingly, predictions slightly favor Brazil in some websites by a slight margin, from 1-5%. Anyway, it's hard to bet on them passing through the knockout without feeling anxious all the time. Need to improve their chance creation and conversion, dunno what the coach can do to improve that in a short time though.

This is the worst Brazil squad ever. The second half of Brazil vs. Colombia was a letdown, not what you'd expect from the Samba side. Be careful betting on Brazil.

Unfortunately, Vini Jr. is out due to a yellow card suspension, so we won't see him in the quarter-final match against Uruguay. Based on their group stage performance, I doubt they have any advantage over Uruguay. After missing out one of their stars, it will be tough for Brazil to win.

This is Brazil's last match of the group stage against Colombia. If Brazil had won this match they would have secured the next round as group champions but they could not take the result of the last match in their favour. A while ago we saw the result of the match where both teams shared one point. Due to this result of the game, Colombia became the group champion and Brazil became the runner-up and confirmed the next round. Even if Brazil overcomes the hurdle of the group stage, it remains to be seen what they will do in the quarter-finals. 

Vinicius Junior, one of the stars of Brazil, will not be able to enter the field in the quarter-final match due to receiving yellow cards in two consecutive matches. 

In this match I was watching the game with Brazil ahead and my bet was in favor of Brazil but I lost that bet as the match was a draw.
