Brazil did look like they are better, but is it permanent or is it temporary? We do not know that yet, and we can't possibly know because there will be just few more games in the whole tournament, you don't get to play 30+ games like a league, you get to play just a few.

Argentina still looks by far the best team without a doubt, so I think it should be considered a little different because we are looking into this as something that will get some better results but until Brazil faces Argentina if that ever happens. I think Brazil most likely won't get even that far, but if they do, then I think Argentina is far superior nowadays and they will do better. Uruguay even looks better than Brazil right now if you ask me.

forget about the hatrick and let's face the fact that this is what we've all been yearning for to see from vinicius. He showed an high level of class and quality he had lacked in his previous games and scoring two goals in this encounter makes it just too beautiful to behold. This is certainly a good one for him and it will go on to build his momentum and confidence in the coming games.

On the aspect of the balon d'or, we've seen that almost all the likely options that are fit to take this edition of the balloon d'or are playing below expectation in there home country. Jude Bellingham has been consistent in his bad form at England and harry Kane hasn't done better. Tony Kross has been average and at least done better than Jude and Kane combined together mbape, foden and halland are still playing average plus considering that at thier club level vinicius already has an advantage over them after leading his team to winning the champions league, it all adds up to the fact that if we see better performance from vinicius and the Brazilian team in the coming games and they manage to win or get to the finals of copa America, he's certainly going to be the most likely to win the balon d'or.

With or without a hat-trick, Vinicius Jr. did absolutely well and lived up to expectations. His two goals were clean and fantastic, so we must commend him for the effort.

What I don't seem to understand in the match was why they allowed Lucas Paqueta' to play the second penalty after missing the first penalty. Maybe they gave him a second chance to correct his mistake so that he will not live with the guilt of missing Brazil's first goal of the match. Luckily, he was able to correct the mistake and scored the 4th goal for Brazil. I'm really impressed with the performance of Brazil and this win just increased their chances of qualifying for the next round, they just need a draw with Columbia to succeed whereas their closest rival Costa Rica need to win Paraguay with about 5 goals margin to displace Brazil, and that is if Brazil loses their last match.
