Despite Chile didn't make out of the group stage I was still impressed with their performance because playing 10 against 11 is not an easy thing, the seriously hold on to Canada in defending themselves. The faith of group A is now clear, Argentina and Canada make it out of group A, Argentina are the first to be known to win all the three matches played in the group stage, making a total of 9 points, 5 goals and zero conceded goals. Let see how the remaining group goes, maybe if they can make like Argentina, in my own opinion Argentina remain the favourite to win the trophy.

The real game in this group will be Bolivia vs Panama. I can't see the US beating Uruguay so if Panama can win they can lock up 2nd place. Sad showing for the US side.

Uruguay players are in very good form. It will be very difficult for the USA to score points against Uruguay right now. Uruguay dominated and won the first two matches. If the USA is very lucky, they might be able to pick up a point against Uruguay. But the probability of this is very low.

On the other hand, Bolivia is the weakest team in this group. The team lost in 2 matches. and conceded 7 goals. The players of Bolivia were not able to score a single goal. So the chances of Panama winning against Bolivia are high. In the second place of the table, we will probably see the Panama team.

Today's match was really tight.I was looking forward to see Argentina's performance in this match as most of their star players were absent from today's match. Notably, few other players including the lifeblood of their team Lionel Messi and defender Romero did not play in this match. Still, Argentina played well against Peru today and ended up winning by 2-0 goals.
Argentina won all three group stage matches to qualify for the quarter-finals as group champions. Maybe their next target will be to reach the semi-finals and after reaching the semi-finals their target will be to reach the final and win the title.

At least it's a step up from their previous match. I think cup matches are unpredictable by nature so who knows how they will play against Columbia. I hope they advance to the knock-out so we have an interesting tie here and there, to be honest. But they need to improve and stop relying on mistakes or luck to score in the future.

I think the chance for them to finish third is quite low though. Costa Rica needs to win with at least 6 goals to match the goal difference if Brazil loses against Columbia by a goal. I am also thinking that Argentina is the favourite team to win the title but it appears that Messi suffers from an injury that will prohibit him from playing the third game in the group stage and who knows for how long it takes to recover. I also agree with the inclusion of Colombia as a candidate for this year's title
The Copa America is not always won by the usual favorites, incredibly even Bolivia has 1 title hehehe

My guess is Argentina as champions, but obviously there could be a surprise

Firstly I don't expect any surprising trophy winner in this year's competition. I think there are only 3 candidates which can do this. These are Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay obviously.

Argentina look pretty decent. It is nice to see Messi not retiring from national team yet and he is also doing his best.

I think Uruguay vs USA will end in a draw because Uruguay will manage some important players and rest them for next phase. For me , Uruguay played the best football so far in Copa America and I think they will reach finals for sure and with a bit of luck they can even win it.

The Copa America is just not like other competition especially when it comes to the knockout stages for me I think most of all the draws during that round can actually even end up at penalty shoot out. Some of the teams that we even expect that are going to be scoring lots of goals actually isn't even scoring and it just makes the whole competition a lot boring .
