I think they are developers or the team did this on purpose to attract people because Corona is trending right now, but I think it is not a little wise because they take advantage of the moment of others' suffering. It is better for them to use other better methods.

To be fair to this coin, part of the proceeds (20%) are going to the Red Cross for Covid-19 relief efforts. The world bank already offers a pandemic bond to countries to redirect money in times of pandemic outbreaks.
If there is a very good goal we should support it, because after all the corona epedemic really requires very intensive attention from all countries.
at least with the same name and want to help alleviate the problem needed support from crypto colleagues, so that information can be known and can be useful.

Let me correct you,

The coin’s creators have tried marketing it as a “2019-nCoV relief effort,” the website shows, by claiming that around 20% of the supply will be allocated for monthly donations to the Red Cross.

It's just part of their marketing strategy, don't be a fool wherein their main purpose is to make profit by counting the increasing numbers of dead people which cause by the virus.

“The fact that the number of tokens decreases over time, means that it is deflationary and should become more valuable over time,”

By reading this, I can say that they only think of how they can earn, and not to really help those victims.

I think this is just hype in the middle of this corona virus case, but it never hurts to try.

Corona Coin:
price: US $ 0.00185192
volume: US $ 23,731
capitalization: unknown, which means unlimited supply at this time.

market exchange: eTORO, Bithumb Global, and CREX24.

for p2p transactions, I still don't understand whether there is support for these features for this corona coin.

Thanks

I don't recommend you to support this project. It is like people who support this coin is expecting for more people to die because of the virus. Imagine, they will burn a certain amount from its supply depends on the people that will die due to this virus. Where is the humanity of the developers of this coin, they don't even consider the feelings of the family of the victims that they make as their basis on making a profit.

I have the feeling that they are just using the current situation for their own advantage. I don't think they really do care on this situation. Because of the popularity of the issue, they are now trying to make money out of it. I won't support this kind of project also. Unless, they can prove that they have sincere intentions on helping out this crisis.

It's very disappointing to see people come up with bad ideas like this just to make profit off from people. The developer of this coin's motive is very negative and such a cancer in our space.

I will not gonna support and buy this type of coin. Who will be happy if more and more were being killed by that corona virus and that the price will eventually go up? Like wth is wrong with the developers. This is insane.

This aren't true developers, I believe this is a group of people wanting to make fortune with other people's agony.  I have seen lots of tokens that were created because of some trending issue, and they all die once the trend's flame dies.

We already know this is a coin that won't go anywhere, but how this people can make fun out of something this serious baffles me, this is a real problem affecting people worldwide and someone with a twisted mind can create a coin out of other people's misery,  anyone who pays attention to this nonsense is as sick as the team,
There is a limit to some certain things, it is pathetic.

They are not making fun of people, they are exploiting the scenario to make money out of it.

They can only exploit or make fortune out of this if people actually pay attention to their crap,
There are other ways you exploit and make money  but not at the expense of other people's death and suffering,
How is this coin going to solve the current situation with the virus? It has zero solution to the situation yet all they can come up with is to make money of it.

Hi, I recently discovered that there is a cryptocurrency called 'Corona Coin'. At each death a quantity of the coin will be burned. Anyway, I would like to know if you know of any place that I can buy it via p2p. Thanks
I wonder if this token is related to coronavirus? A bit of a strange name.
It is related,
As it is stated by OP, each people's death of the positive patient will be burned. It seems that the developer of this coin and its supporter is expecting to have a lot of deaths. They want to use deaths of people as their basis on how many tokens they will burn, it is not a good way to run a business.

I have heard of many ridiculous projects before but this is probably the worst, the developers are just trying to use something as important as the epidemic of coronavirus and the deaths and suffering around the world to make some money, to me this is completely outrageous and it should be enough to never take seriously those developers ever again, do not invest in that coin, not only because you are not going to make money with it, do not do it because it is incorrect to take advantage of the situation in this way.

How can people make fun with a killing virus? I assume all the team members of this CoronaCoin is sick and retarded! Do you want to buy that coin? Why? Are you loving the idea about burning coin after every life taken? Mate, think again what you are saying. There are plenty of good coins, buy them, why this sick coin?

I have seen so many ridiculous coins in the past and this one is no different, there's really no technology behind this coin and who would want to take part in a project that celebrates deaths coming from Coronavirus, this project is just a hype and will soon die, investors are wiser now, they are not going to go for this kind of stuff.

I don't know why any reasonable person would be interested in a coin like this that mocks a critical situation. Coronavirus is not a joke. BTW, the writing is already on the wall that this is another shitcoin. Yet someone will invest in it.

It's like a joke that exploits a booming issue.  Does this coin maker hope that this virus outbreak will continue to exist so that the coins continue to sell?  that's a bad idea, I think.  If anyone is interested it might not last long, and when the plague is resolved, the issue subsides, and over time these coins will become even more valuable.  there is no problem solving for the long term.

It looks utter nonsense. The virus itself is not so dangerous and far from being as deadly as it is presented in the media. This is a commonplace example of mass hysteria based on nothing.
The creator of the coin apparently decided to play a cruel joke. I doubt that this can be interesting to a person in their right mind.
