This situation of virus spreading uncontrollably all don't want be exposed to corona, online casino is good enough for now and in future too be the best rather than having to bet on sports gambling that might not be sure to air cause of corona. Threat of this tragic disease think should be watched out especially for the health of sports athletes, not only threatening in the field of gambling but all things.

There are a lot of online sports betting most specifically on eSports. E-sports doesn't require to be happened in a crowded people or be an event that requires physical attendance. E-sports betting is the best alternative so far yet it do somehow require a lot of studying and spectating before giving a bet on a team or a person. Yet, e-sports gambling doesn't usually gambles cryptocurrencies, but instead an item or a rare skins/HUDs depending on someone's bet.

Corona might have stopped the actual sports gambling, but it somehow opened an opportunity to the growing community of esports.

Well, definitely, sports betting has a very huge demographics in terms of bettors and gamblers. The reason is because they find it more fun when they could earn at the same time, watch their favorite player or team to win in the sports/game.

I shouldn't advise this as this has a very different enjoyment compared to sports betting, but I also consider gambling in online casino to be an alternate gambling activity we should take. We might not get the same satisfaction but I am pretty sure, more gamblers could earn, and even faster than sports betting.

Whose names are addicts and gambling there is always an alternative way to place a bet in gambling.
My example, at this time I still use local sports betting in my country, for example region vs region between provinces, online and manually, that's all I can do right now.

I highly doubt that they are giving up. especially those high stake gamblers that make betting online as their main source of income.

I'm an occasional sports(cricket) gambler. Since I don't see that any sports event is going to take place in the next month, I have started to play card games like Rummy, Poker, Blackjack etc. But the thing is with online Poker and Rummy you can't read your opponent and might end up losing Undecided

But I don't see an alternative to gambling.

With all this issue surrounding coronavirus I wonder how much increasing betting will take place both from regular gamblers and those that nebver or occasionally place bets.

Having so much time for those under lockdown to access casinos and gaming sites on the internet will make some people suffer as they place bets while passing the time.

No gambling at all except for the occassional 'donation' at the poker tables when I'm bored. Lolol. I miss checking the football lines first thing in the morning to check what's nice to put some action on.

I don't think many will still go to the casinos these days. The danger that the Covid19 brings is being feared by most people and even the gamblers. I think some dedicated gamblers just gamble on their homes like those people that love to play poker.

I think this is the time for self discover amongs sports gamblers, because now we can differentiate between a gambler, and an addicted gambler, with almost all europe important leagues are down, race, cycling and tennis are on hodl. as a sports gambler did you rush to casinos to stake ?

Or you rushed to virtual games like horse race ? dog race ? and virtual football ?

Now asked yourself, did you divert your gambling attention because you were bored ? or because you just have to gamble out of desperation ?

Since a lot of users here are staying at home due to the virus, we cannot gamble outside or go to casinos or even bet with sports since there's no sports event at all. But what I do for now is I focus on learning about trading rather than finding alternatives to gambling. But if you really want to gamble, you can go to online casinos. But if you're not into like that and you prefer sports betting, I think the best you can do as an alternative is e-sports betting. I don't know if it fits everyone's taste but that's one of the choices you have right now if you want to bet.

I still do online gambling sometimes but since the market is down, instead of using it to gamble, I'm using my extra money to invest in crypto. I also do e-sports betting with my friends. Since our community is in quarantine, we cannot go outside so to spend some time inside the house, we play online games and make a bet for more thrill.

The betting sites/companies would lose/miss out on a lot of money due to this corona virus pandemic, everything has been put to a stop, there is limited or even no games at all to bet on and customers would no longer lose money to them, so it's not just the gamblers who are in this alone, the betting sites are also without anything to do.

The "physical" betting shops are also hit hard, people have been advised to avoid crowded areas and stay at home, this shops in my locale have been closed down by the government looking to stop to spread of this virus. Gamblers should just keep their money, stay at home and pray we see the last positive case of this virus soon.

Instead of betting in sports gambling, why can't we just donate our spare money? By that we can help our fellow citizen to overcome and protect themselves from the virus. Let's stop online casinos for now and let us enjoy our time with our families. Follow the government on implementing community quarantine to slow the spreading of the virus. Also be ready, alert, watch news everyday to know what's happening around the world. Instead of sports betting, just play sports using our gadgets, cellphones, PS4, computer, by that we can entertain ourselves and enjoy playing games while we are safe from the virus. Also you can play cards, with your family to strengthen more your relationship to each other.
