I already know that there are people who will start looking for ways to scam people using this case of covid-19. Everyone really has to be careful on who they are giving money, if you want to donate to any of these organizations you should go straight to their website and look for how you can donate to help those victims of Corona virus.

If you don’t know their website you can visit their social media pages on Instagram and Facebook or even Twitter and look for links to their website. The good thing is that their social media are verified with the check sign so that you will know the main pages. So, don’t reply or click links from unsolicited emails.

Even in a situation like this there are still some fools (scammers) that are looking for how they are going to be scamming people.
Well, it’s only for those that they can deceive, I can never be deceived by that nonsense. World health organizations will not just send you random emails especially when you have not signed up on their websites, so how the heck did they get your email? That’s what you should know.

Organizations will only make the post on their social media pages and then urge people to donate through the link they posted. The only time you will receive mail is if you signed for their newsletter. And despite that, when you receive such mail you should know when it’s coming from the right people or not.

Does this fraudulent activities targets email who engaged in Cryptocurrency?
I have heard about this same scam before who attacks user emails who was active in cryptocurrency, and was wondering how'd this people get our emails?
Anyway, they could just send random emails to anybody asking for donations nowadays, and I'm not gonna be surprised about this, because greedy people don't care about the worst situation as long as they take advantage of someone.

Campaign Management?"Hhampuz" is the Man
Sending Email to ask for donation is a Flag for me and will never give a damn reading it thoroughly for sure i will delete this automatic if i received 1.

this is normal when there are big issues going on worldwide, these scammers and hackers will take advantage and since people are worrying and concern they can be easily mislead by them.

first why need to donate for others when your community needs the help most?just fund the community and let them help people near you because this is domino effect and other community will do what you guys did on yours.

We should be careful about clicking and clicking links because this might be our weakness. We want to help yes, but there are plenty of ways to do this. We should exercise caution and do our best to warn our co-Bitcoiners. It is just sad to see that scammers are taking advantage of the situation we are in right now. We definitely need cooperation and teamwork to fight COVID-19 rather than becoming a liability of the government because for sure, karma would pave its way.

I am not really in awe to know that there some people who use this time as an opportunity tot take advantage of other people's humble hearts. People with this kind of mind and immoral intention would not mind any period, even a disastrous pandemic disease, to carry out their plans of actions in deceiving people through collection of money disguise as a form donation and a initiative to help that would result a greater good to the community. Nevertheless, people should take extra precautions and be vigilant enough in movements take out through online platforms.

The impact of this disaster is that there are some people who use the situation to earn money. I hope that those who commit fraud will receive the consequences. Thank you, friends, for sharing your information and I think we should always be vigilant.

When getting news or emails that are unclear the sender we have to do the checking. Don't the origin of clicking on a site that might be dangerous. Preferably if we want to donate money better through legally authorized organizations. So someone wants to do good by helping a friend who is currently influenced by the spread of the Covid-19 virus can be channeled well.

this is not extraordinary...
every disaster happens, there will be fake donations like this, if you are really a generous person, it would be nice if you donated to an official foundation that already has a good name and reputation, love the bitcoins you have and don't just donate carelessly.
Careful also regardless on what sites.
I've seen some investigation of BTC donation happening here right now. I wouldn't just drop a single coin in every site that even if it is like a forum, just like here where scams aren't moderated. Caveat emptor as we know it.
I've seen some sites that are just merely copying and pasting layouts and that's quite common to encounter actually.

Thanks for bringing this up, recently I was thinking of changing my primary email address because of scam email like this, I do not know how some of them get my email address and sending spam like this, just filter the mail and report it as a spam, so as to help other people. I just hope people do not fall victim of scam like this, please if you really want to donate, donate to right health donation that you are sure your money would reach the primary target

We all know the coronavirus or the COVID-19 affected everyone greatly and that’s why we also know that it is important for us to work together and help each other especially those who needed it badly. The cure for COVID-19 is not yet complete and for that we can say that our scientists are having a hard time on it so we should provide help to them also.  One way of helping is donating money BUT we should be very careful on it. Frauds still exists even in this kind of situation. Here are some tips to avoid frauds:

When we encounter something like this, please don’t hesitate to share it to other people just like the NatWest did.

If there is one place that we must donate is our government right?so why need to take this kind of thing to be serious because this is an obvious scam and only stupid people will buy their style.

Anyway this is good sample on how the scammers taking advantage of the situation and specially this kind when more people are desperate to help others and the internet is the easiest way to do such.

Scammers will always wanna take advantage of any given situation happening in the world. Its quite a pity to see people only interested in their own personal gains without considering the impact that might have on innocent victims. We just have to be very careful in this era of this corona virus pandemic.

I have received many emails in the last couple of weeks. Some wanted help, some wants Bitcoin donate for their children etc. I haven't click on that email links as i know all of those emails are fake and hackers are trying to hack in this system. In the past, my wallet have been hacked and after that i am now aware about any email. Thanks for this issue to bring us know.
I like to know where they got your mail. If its not exposed from submission from bounty registration then must have gotten from some other online pages. If one cant take care of such vulnerability in this space he might struggle with more cases in this space, most especially with security of one crypro portfolio.

For the generous people, if you want to send your help and reach out to these organizations that are helping the fight against covid19.

Send the help directly, don't send it to unusual emails that teaches you where to send that you don't even sure. Look for the official websites which won't bother you because it only takes minutes from doing it.

Fraudsters always try to take advantage of any situation to benefit from the negligence of their targets. As a precaution, we should re-check the information we can by visiting an official account. Fraud mode via email has often happened, I also experienced it several times, after checking the official account there was no information as written in the email.
This should be a note for all of us, every exchange/project / all organizations must have an official account and always give warnings about fraud, they usually apply one-door information, for example, official announcements are only made on their official Twitter or Facebook. So if there is information via email or telegram can be a fraud, so make sure it first by asking in CS.
