I am sure that nothing will change when China fully launches its digital yuan and it will not be able to affect the dollar in any way. In any case, the digital dollar will inherit the leading role of the dollar when it is released. While the digital yuan will inherit all the disadvantages of a centralized management system.
The USA will release a digital currency of its own soon enough, so will Europe and Russia. It's a dream come true for a totalitarian lover, and what makes it worse is that people will love the new, way more convenient currency they're coming up with. A digital currency has been worked on for many years in different parts of the world, and all those digital fiat coins will be just as centralized as China's.

Cryptocurrency is becoming a trend despite the shock of the COVID-19 pandemic. This actually raises a conspiracy regarding the possibility of changes in the financial world to use digital currency as one of the goals of the New World Order or the global elite.

COVID-19 itself has had an impact on worsening economies in many countries. But is there an adaptation of one world currency? Can Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies be a substitute for money in the future?
I would like to see bitcoin as the one digital currency for the world but then there are limitations because each country has their own regulations and rules about the digital currencies and also they want to completely own and control the national digital currency so that is why we are seeing this new trend of official digital cureency for each country.

My answer is NEVER!
Why do people have the same absurd view that Bitcoin will be replaced by fiat money? Obviously, you guys don't really understand fiat money yet and guys are underestimating it.

You know that in order to change one currency must be overcome so many barriers of both economic and political? I highly recommend that you read about the meaning of fiat money in the article below and give your own answer.  Smiley

Cryptocurrencies is the next step to the new globalization.

Banks and governments leave, and everything will be better with the internet of easy things.

I think that Bitcoin will only be digital gold, altacoins are the ones that will have real life use and what Bitcoin needs to shine.

The world has been in partial friendship and for anyone to come up with this idea of the world have one currency won't work. Though, there might be another digital currency which can be a world reserve currency but this may be long before the world agree for a single coin to be use. Bitcoin has proven beyond all doubt that it can help the world solve it problem economically because of it limited in supply. Countries will definitely have their own coins.
^ each country will definitely have its own cryptocurrency. If the digital yuan is a big success in the Chinese market then surely other countries will start to follow China, especially countries that have a debt to China.

Bitcoin is the only currency that has been working so far that's widely and generally accepted as settlement between parties. No any other centralized world currency that would work because of our differences. Though, USD has been generally working as global internet money but still there is restriction in other countries.
Why I said it will not work, Africa is an example. Ecowas tried to launch a currency that will be accepted by the members of her countries, it died even before they continue. Talk more of worldwide, do you think North Korea will accept that?
Definitely no.

I think the biggest possibility is that there is an international currency that can be used wherever it will be born because it is needed to facilitate transactions
The currency in my opinion is very suitable is bitcoin or altcoin, in addition to high security, bitcoin has many more advantages than others

Other countries may adopt and start their own digital currencies, and some are already taking a look at this adoption but let's not expect that there would be a one-world digital currency. Not all countries would agree to have a single currency, what more to the adoption of cryptocurrency when we can already see several countries do not have a positive perspective towards it. Even if it's gaining attraction lately, it's still not enough as the majority still don't know or have sufficient knowledge about crypto.

We can observe and assume that by 2020 almost all of the world will experience a pandemic. It makes the world economy difficult and stagnant. Bitcoin has emerged as a savior in the financial economy market, it has a huge influence on the opinion of investors, helping investors. Investors can still get rich without having to contact each other or working in companies and factories. After this covid-19, Bitcoin will probably win the hearts of more people and will gradually become more popular in life.  not only countries but also governments will
 agree and use Bitcoin more.

It will never be possible and this time any entities started to release their own digital currency. There will  be so many CBDC in the future. It's an impossible thing to happen for sure.
You should wake up from your sleep and see the reality.
one world digital currency is just a dream. So many parties in competition to make their own digital currency to be adopted by public.

No I don't think that will be possible. In the crypto space, Bitcoin is highly regarded because of its value which of course makes it the best coin, not only that, its features such as decentralization also makes it to stand out, thus, since Bitcoin is totally decentralized it will not be possible for any government to surrender its power to it and adopt it as their sole currency; doing this will mean the death of that country's fiat.
However, from another angle, every country have their own fiat currencies which gives the government ultimate power to do whatever they want, so I do not think any government will ever allow any sort of One World Currency be it fiat or digital currency, this is because, doing this will mean that, the government has surrendered their powers to a group of individuals.
So looking at this case scenarios, I do not think there will be any sort of One World Digital Currency.

There will never be a single world currency unless it can somehow be fragmented so that China, USA and all the other large powers will be able to choose their own rules. Unless that happens, China will never allow an American CBDC to dominate the world and vice-versa. They either all have the control handle or the party crashes.

Sometimes I wonder where the One World Currency or (One World Digital Currency) theory really came from. It's definitely not from the Holy Bible because there is nothing about one world currency in there. I don't see how a single world currency can be properly enforced through out the world. Or maybe they mean "One Global Currency plus national currencies?
If people understood what "currency" means they will probably understand that multiple currencies will always exist.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies aren't created to substitute fiat money, but it can be owned by anyone and can be used to purchase anything as long as the merchant have allowing Bitcoin and cryptocurrency payment and the country aren't banning it.

I don't think Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can be one world digital currency since many countries still banning them [1] It's to far to thinking about that, at first we need all countries not to ban Bitcoin.

Currently different countries has embarked and some embarking on research in finding a good alternative for the present fiats which seem obsolete. So, with countries like this there won't going to be a single world currency, unlike the world never operated a single fiat currency. Bitcoin won't be the world currency but basically will remain as the world first digital currency or might be the world reserve currency.

This is one of the reasons Bitcoin won't be a global success. Some leaders don't like not having control over supply and finance (for some good and bad reasons) and they'll never substitute their centralized currency with something they can't control.

It will come but its too early to say that there will be one world currency. Though we are seeing a great development from Bitcoin, we can still say that it is in the early state. The first thing will happen will be the cashless system, its going to be the preparation for a one currency system. In my country, leaders are planning to partner with the local wallets to implement cashless transaction. One thing is for sure,a new system will come that will make the traditional store of money will no longer exists because of the Blockchain breakthrough.

There is no and it will never happen. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies can't be a substitution for the money in the future. Crypto can be considered as digital money. This will co-exist with the fiat money in the future.
Crypto offers the feature that didn't owned by the fiat money.
Im not feeling pessimistic but it's not likely to happen for sure.
