Thank you for reminding everybody here though. Playing casino or gambling games would be stopped by not playing on physical casino. There were some sort of online stuff out there that we could use for the mean time although kind of boring but it is the only way or the recommended way for us to fill the urge of gambling. If you get boring with it, then get rest, explore other stuff in your home, and tell you, staying at home for a moment is as well a good practice to lessen the gambling addiction, this virus did bring a good thing somehow. Anyway, COVID-19 is a serious thing, thus we must comply with the necessary action to lessen the scale of spreading it.

Since this is a gambling discussion you can't avoid gambling recommendations here and there's nothing wrong about OP. It just stated that it's better to gambling online than the casino and it's referred for to those who are certified gamblers, not bookworms.

It's a general statement, not only for normal people but for professional and rich gamblers who are being entertained through gambling.

Honestly I have been even afraid of going to grocery store these days let alone going to a casino. Can you think about it! Like all the chips, cards, money, glasses, places you sit, like there is thousands of possibilities of a person with corona to spread their disease to everyone in a casino! No way I will ever go to a casino, I will definitely keep my gambling to online. I already gamble online more than I gamble in person, so there is no way I will change that NOW.

Horse racing was something I liked to watch in place with others because it has a different vibe and I liked it, however I haven't been going for a month now and I have been staying at home for over 2 weeks just to make sure I have nothing. There are people who are more fearless than me but I would rather not go through all of that right now and just kudos to them being so brave but I will never be that brave when it comes to my life and the life of my loved ones.

Yeah it is spreading globally but lucky, the virus can be controlled but the spreading will not be stopped although it can be reduce at least. I don't want to to go outside right now even though there are no cases in my place. It is for additional safety too for me. Gambling in casinos right now is prohibited in some of the countries already because of the virus so it would be better if you will gamble online already at least you are not prone to the virus and you don't need to go outside. Because the health experts are saying that people should try to avoid places where there are a lot of people, it is best to include casinos in those places. Casinos are crowded most of the time. I am not sure right now when the issue of the virus is hot. There must be a high number of offline casino gamblers who are also trying to keep away from these places. For the meantime, there are those sites which offer the same games as in offline casinos. They will enjoy them just the same. The most important thing is that they are keeping themselves and their families safe from possible contamination.

With the deadly virus spreading very fast it is best to stay at home and only go out if it is really necessary but if you want to go out just to gamble then think twice, there's a lot of people going in and out the casino and you don't know where they come from and who knows some of the players are carrying the virus with them so better avoid going to a location with a lot of people. Gambling online may come handy wherein you can enjoy playing and at the same time at the safety of your home.

We know that pandemic comes worst as day goes by and its just normal for us to avoid on crowded places including these casinos.
No matter how fun it is, we should avoid if we dont like for ourselves to get infected or to spread out more into others.

This is indeed more preferable than playing on actual casino. Interaction with regards to physical contact is what we are trying to avoid here and online gambling would be the solution to this conflict. The health related issue is now causing havoc to various countries which limits the hobbies and other activities of an individual including gambling. Online gambling is the new way of gambling and obviously, it would be safer these days to do so compared on going to actual casinos.

I have read an article about a vaccine being discovered that would treat and aid this issue. But I forgot that particular article and also, I haven't heard of such thing from the news so maybe, that is still a hoax or just a rumor. The mortality rate is low and it mostly affects the elderly. Chances are if you get infected that you will recover. But what if you infect your dad, grandmother or the old neighbor next door. Will he recover considering that most of the dead are aged 70+? That is a gamble I am not willing to take.

Many people do panic a lot because they have experienced different viruses before which might become a stimuli for them to panic, because they are anticipating worse possibilities to happen. But as far as I have read, those who have weak immune system such as the elders and the childrens are most prone to the said disease.

I think if the authorities recommend staying at home, people should actually take it seriously unless the authorities also suggest how to stay safe in physical casinos... and they should ensure that casino owners use the correct and adequate safety materials in their casinos.

By the way, I wonder why businesses like casinos don't consider working from home and recommending their customers to their online casino sites?

Though casinos may implement medical securities in the entire facility of their casinos, they are fighting a virus that could spread through droplets and the like, so they might as well just adopt online gambling instead. I'd rather let those casinos close down temporarily, and instead, put their focus in their online gambling sites, enforcing more people to prepare for a possible influx of users because of the virus.

Ignorance I suppose? Numbers may have been told, authorities may have informed others, but more and more false information is being spread compared to legitimate ones. And users, gullible as they are, spread this information unknowingly that they are spreading false ones which literally just contributes more to the mass panic already happening. Mass hysteria regarding the virus could literally be seen in our country, with facemasks and alcohol/sanitizers being bought out and having the police to intervene about the hoarding some of the buyers do.

I think most governments are applying that now to prevent the spreading virus. Our government is trying to imply social distances and just recently our president announced community quarantine in some cities to avoid interacting with a lot of people.

Those governments in different countries that are affected, I think they are really trying their best that they can to avoid more cases. But as a citizen, we should also help them by simply obeying and cooperating the authorities. That's the least we can do. If you really want to gamble, you can do that online. A physical casino is a crowded place and that's what we should avoid. We should keep ourselves safe by staying at home as much as possible and keep our hands clean. This will only last until they find a cure for this virus. But for now, let's be contented with online gambling because it's safer and you can assure you can't be contaminated by the virus.

I have been playing online ever since, I am not a kind of guy who likes to go to a physical casino and play, so as a gambler I am not so affected with the conona virus threat. I have some friends who really go to a real casino, maybe I could teach them to just play online, my favorite is sports betting but season was cancelled, so maybe its time to try to explore difference kind of games.

) then people should be able to continue playing to their hearts content. (as long as their crypto price doesn't fall too much more).

Having said that once this has passed, people should be encouraged to return to live casinos to support their local economies and the staff, then find a balance between online casinos and In Real Life casinos.
