Covid-19 is become epidemic. Around One million people are affected by it. It's become grisly day by day. Many cities are already locked down. People are being ordered not to leave home and stayed at home. You may know that Ethereum Community Conference was held on 3 march to 5 march. And it is a very sorrowful news, 6 people are affected by coronavirus on that conference. If this continues, then cryptocurrency will  be affected too. We should maintain the proper rules and avoid all of the conference meeting and gathering places.

Coronavirus keeps getting outta hands in countries like Italy and France and others, things keep getting worse with the disease every day but I surprised me is the affectionate to crypto, it seems to stop affecting crypto already what do you think?
It’s not only Bitcoin , there are other assets and stocks that seems not to be affected by the Covid-19 situation any longer. Most of them has been recovering. I noticed that gold has increased and the current is somewhere around 52,000 dollars. And silver has also been going up a bit after falling from over 580 dollars to 380 dollars; the current price of silver is $462.

So, some stocks and assets has been recovering from the fall and Bitcoin has gone from the low price to over $6600 dollars. I hope that it keeps going up like this , just wish there is going to be a huge increase after May.

Nope, i don't think so as the market is not yet stable. The cryptocurrency market is still going through fluctuation and not just cryptocurrency market but other investments options too. I believe things are getting better as scientists are close to getting cure to the coronavirus pandemic and china about open their lockdown to let people start their normal activities again...... The cryptocurrency market will soon experience a stable state
Yes, and several other countries have also begun to be active in dealing with the coronavirus epidemic, and have begun to carry out activities as usual at certain hours, so that people have started to think about their work again after a few days of experiencing lockdown simultaneously.

When compared to the impact on other financial markets, the cryptocurrency market is recovering faster. Commodity prices are still many that have not moved up, even the price of gold still looks stagnant. I think this is a good sign for investors or holders

As of today, the cases in different countries around the world is still massively growing in numbers. This is already alarming because all sectors are being affected by this Coronavirus-19 pandemic.

Cryptocurrency prices in the market also gets down together with the increase of the cases maybe because people who are using cryptocurrency tend to convert their cryptocurrencies for a while and turn it into fiat to sustain their necessities to survive and keep themselves these days. People tend to focus more into providing essential needs that is why trading is somehow being set aside for now which makes the prices of the cryptocurrencies to fall down. Also, people are taking advantage of the situation in which even the volume of demand is high, but the bidding of prices is being lowered to take the opportunity of obtaining cryptocurrencies at a lower price rate. Those are the reasons I think which makes the prices of cryptocurrencies go down in relation to the Coronavirus-19 pandemic.
That's right, friend, as a result of the Coronavirus-19 pandemic, the impact is so pronounced, I think not a few cryptocurreny holders are more willing to exchange their cryptos for fiat currencies for their survival, hopefully this plague will leave soon and the market will return to normal.

Not going to lie my portfolio is hurting right now but some coins are worth hodling.
Right now it's pretty bleak out there but there is hope on the horizon.
For example TemTum, with talks with governments to provide them with a national currency due to break (once coronavirus is no longer the only topic of discussion) patience will certainly pay off
Temtum was even facing the bad trend too. It's better to choose coin which was offering more guarantee to the holders rather than betting on something that we don't know about that. I can even get decent profit from my portfolios right now and it's better to pick some coins which were offering gradual increase. We have a lot of coins in the market and we can choose one from them all which has been showing very good performance.

This caused by crypto has already made to be an alternative solution for the financial crisis and i wanna suggest you some interesting article that will tell you a lot about the real fundamental of crypto.
https://cointelegraph.com/news/fundstrat-etoro-analysts-predict-coronavirus-crisis-may-strengthen-bitcoin
https://cointelegraph.com/news/imf-weighs-the-pros-and-cons-of-a-central-bank-digital-currency
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-was-designed-for-a-financial-crisis-so-far-its-working-well
So many parties just realized that if crypto is a different thing. it's a revolution
Agree cryptocurrency is already affected at this time since the COVID-19 virus spread so fast comparing it to the other pandemic virus in the past.

We could totally take control of the virus if we act fast but the virus is spreading fast but as soon as we contain the virus the casualties are surely going down also.

Cryptocurrency could really be useful at times like this but surely the market price of cryptocurrency is already affected at this rate and this will have a big effect on the cryptocurrency if the virus continue spreading.

So many people are now at home and they are looking for what they can do with their time. Some of them have chosen to invest the spare money they have in crypto. That i think is one of the reasons why the market is moving uptrend. Although, that might not be the only reason.
You know, someone cannot just keep spending, without looking for a way to increase what is at hand. The future has to be protected.
in this situation its better to secured your money in your hand than investing , you all know that you are in the lockdown why will you risk your money if you cant even know if you can survive if youve been infected , so investing is not a good choice.

You will aslo need your money daily for the foods that you will need during lockdown.

We might not even be feeling the real impact yet.
It might come after this is all over.

The last dip might came from the volatile feature of bitcoin. We all don't know that.
But this recent ones could be from us selling bitcoin in exchange for cash to buy goods in case worst things happen again.
It is not that bad to be ready right?

Maybe it’s no longer affecting cryptocurrency, but I can’t really tell if that’s right or not, I am just happy that the price of Bitcoin has recovered and going up, currently above $6100.

We all know for sure that Coronavirus is not the only thing that caused the Bitcoin price to fall, there are lots of things that have led to this decrease in price, but they are all in the past now except this Covid-19 which I strongly pray everyday that it ends, I just don’t understand what kind of devilish disease is this really hope that it stops once and for all.

It's globally. No one can tell for how long, it's will naturally fade off. Cryptocurrency is only going through same crises and the world. The CoronaVirus is actually a virus affecting human race and it's existence. This actually makes alot of people to dump there holdings with the fear of the unknown, due to the high spread of the virus

Crypto is still being affected by the outbreak because of people who are dumping and this has caused a massive panic, selling and fear.
But in literal talk, there is no interconnection of crypto and any outbreak but the people who are in crypto were affected and did the said actions.
People needs to hold real cash and with fears of this pandemic virus investors are likely cashing out their assets not just inside crypto but
together with other forms of investing. The panic is for real so even there's no direct connections literally speaking if there's no money inside
the market surely the value will keep on falling a part.
Yeah, it's the likely the effect of the outbreak and everyone is forced to sell for the sake of holding cash. We still need cash but we know that everything will go cashless soon.
They'll make this as a reason to avoid the physical possibility of the transfer of the virus.

Italy and France is getting better as it seems, it has killed more people in the past 2 months than many wars in the past decade as it seems (except a few in middle east) so I could safely assume that people realized the horribleness of it after a while and that caused many people to stay at home and when they stayed at home those people who were infected basically either recovered at home if they are healthy people, or the sick ones went to hospital but since life was stopped there was no more transmission of the disease, or at least a limited amount.

Obviously since it is 14 day hatching we reacted very late, but the prevention we have are now showing itself already. Hopefully with over time we will get to zero deaths a day, maybe we will never have zero but we can get close to it.

I don't think so mate, but I think this COVID-19 really affects the cryptocurrency, even though it is decentralized system it cannot pass the bad effects of the virus. All things are being affected by the virus, those traders, investors, players convert their cryptocurrency into fiat currency to have money to buy goods that they will be needing on the crisis and that is why the market falls as well.

If I have so many cryptocurrency I will hold it instead of converting it into fiat currency because I am sure that this cryptocurrecy will bounce back again.

It does affect crypto. Many are selling their crypto in exchange with fiat to buy some foods, etc (like me)because we were advised to stay ay home. This cause the dump of the btc market since panic sellers can't be prevented in this dilemna. I do hope this covid 19 virus will stop spreading so we can procceed to our daily lives as well as the investors. Also, our economy and cryptocurrency will start to recover soon after this crisis.

It shouldn't have affected cryptocurrency in the first place since the industry isn't related to the general market, we don't follow their rules but since human factor still has a huge force in the cryptocurrency industry that's why fud/fear came in and gullible Investors/traders started selling their bags just to avoid losses and once the downward trend began others had to follow to avoid losses.

Manipulator in the person of whales saw it as an opportunity to play with the market to make it work in their favour so they dump theirs bag on the market just to create more fud/price dip and bought back at the dip. Everything is getting back to normal and the market is gradually recovering.

In couple of week the hype will return back since halving is around the corner. We have just about 50days left for the event to commence. The market still has some atom of doubt in it that's why it seems the recovering rate is slow although that's normal considering everyone is in panic in regards to the Corona virus development.
