I don't think it's affecting crypto to stop because it is the right time for people to look for other payment methods because some of them are afraid to use cash to buy in a local store. By using crypto, they don't have to touch hand by hand, but they only scan the barcode to see the amount that they should pay. They can pay directly from their wallet on the mobile phone so that they can prevent from hand-touching.
however the corona epidemic clearly affects the economy, so does crypto definitely have an impact. maybe the impact is not too big compared to the fiat movement itself. because it is clear that crypto is very advanced in all respects and does not need to be related to humans who are actually retained with the transmission. not even with its own fiat that moves people's hands to other people. that's the advantage of crypto with events like this is very good for transactions. I hope this plague can pass quickly.

Crypto is still being affected by the outbreak because of people who are dumping and this has caused a massive panic, selling and fear.
But in literal talk, there is no interconnection of crypto and any outbreak but the people who are in crypto were affected and did the said actions.

It might not look as if it is affecting crypto but it surely do since it is humans that are involved also not just crypto but other markets but maybe I would say it is lessly affecting crypto as people are seeing the need to give it attention since it is showing more growth than others. Also, one of the shortcomings here is, crypto is yet to be widely adopted into several services thus even if you hold, you are limited to what you can buy, where you can go and so on hence the need to also convert to fiat. But also, holding some good coins or even stablecoins can be a good decision.

Crypto can be very useful in this pandemic time, we all have to stay indoor but we can still work online and send money too but now I prefer to request for payment in Bitcoin or Ethereum and I guess this is what will happen for others too

That all what write would be great, if only crypto would be more accepted world wide.
So far this limitation of working from home and buying everything online only strengthen and make banking services more popular.

I would love to pay more in btc or eth, but local medicine store or food store accepts only euro...

To some extent I will say it affected crypto, perhaps not directly,in as much as we think the whales were the cause of the fall of the bitcoin price, some how the Covid 19 also affected it,because many people sold off ,and would want to keep fiat close, only the strong hearted maximized the opportunity to buy crypto, gradually everything will be fine.

Coronavirus keeps getting outta hands in countries like Italy and France and others, things keep getting worse with the disease every day but I surprised me is the affectionate to crypto, it seems to stop affecting crypto already what do you think?
We must not stop to work and influence crypto, because whatever the conditions that we are experiencing today, we must continue to work as usual so that our living needs can be met as usual, and if we cannot work outside the home, then a very good choice is stay at home and always work like it's outside.

The virus affected the cryptocurrency in a very negative way in the beginning when people were too worried about the virus. We need more time to assess if it still matters, and I think it still exists.

We have seen the short term effect on crypto, haven't you seen that bitcoin dip as long as $3800 during the flash crash about a week ago? So indeed everyone is getting hit by the pandemic scare.

However, it seems that crypto is decoupling as far as traditional markets, which mean that we might see crypto flourish while the rest of the traditional market is going to suffer in the long term.

It also affect it when you observed carefully. We cant see the full extent how this affecting the market but, there are factors that surely related to the down fall of the market with this crisis:

  • People converting into fiat for buying necessary supply
  • Some holders/investors pulled out due to panic selling
  • Crypto isnt a safe haven for fund hedging so therefore other remains on fiat holding and own currency

Some say, whales did the downfall, but yes every factor affect the market but we cant deny that covid19 is one of them.

Agree, it may be a temporary factor, IMO, due to the sudden increase in the number of cases that triggers the big panic among the community that leads to the sudden downfall of the market, of course, 'cause of the massive selling of the assets for them to buy necessities that could save them staying at their homes for a while. Well, in the case of stock markets, I kinda think that it was a different story. The thing is that COVID-19 did play a major role in pulling down the markets though. Anyway, we should take an opportunity to buy some stuff back then 'cause just look at the market right now, everything seemed going to be fine now.

If we look at the current condition of crypto prices continue to improve. I think the corona virus does not affect the crypto problem. In fact, I think this is a crypto opportunity to distract investors from real investment into digital crypto.

let us hope that more e-commerce companies or merchants will look the possibility of including bitcoin or other popular alt in their payment system now that fiat money is at risk of having virus. though it is considered as low risk of retaining the virus but they are not removing it from the equation.

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/cash-paper-money-coronavirus-covid-19/

With possible risk involved upon using paper money, crypto comes into the picture. This will be a good opportunity to enhance the crypto adoption. And merchants will play a big role in this as they will be the ones visited by the masses everyday of their lives.

nothing is separated from the influence of the corona epidemic, as well as crypto, although the impact may be much different. because there is an advantage that crypto can be done online and not face-to-face, but because of panic, the impact is also there. after gradually crypto began to adjust to the situation.

Corona virus affected US the most with their 5000 new cases per day and that has caused a lot of country wide panic that has crashed a lot of their markets. with that panic many bitcoin holders feared a drop like that so they started panic selling.
we all know that whenever bitcoin drops, altcoins dump 10 times harder which is why you see cryptocurrencies dropping this much. however COVID-19 has nothing to do with bitcoin which is why bitcoin price went back up.
and again we all know that whenever bitcoin price rises altcoins get dumped again which is another reason for altcoin drops.

actually i just feel that this corona crisis will actually help the price of bitcoin to increase using online payment .its the best solution right now if you dont want to use fiat money and dont want to be infected there is also things saying that fiat money can also be a cause of transmiting the desease to other people.
Same here too, I believe that this outbreak will help crypto gain higher trusts and better adoption too, it's performing better than stocks as we speak and that's a good thing for crypto space entirely, I guess this is Nakamoto's dream
