Creating tokens it’s very simple even though you can create through YouTube video tutorials. There are long procedure to list a token in the exchanges. Because a lot of factors you have to develop a platform then marketing and listing. Not like that within a day your tokens will be worthy.

Don't be in a hurry to make your own coins, everyone knows that it will be very risky if you push yourself especially without sufficient knowledge of coin management, and I agree with what you said that it will just be a waste of time.

It will cost you a lot of money, you need money if you do not know how to create one by hiring a programmer and developer but listing it in exchange will cost you a lot, if you are really interested you should add a platform or your coins will be considered a useless and shitcoin token.

There's no point of creating a token if you don't have the below

1. A vision and purpose for the token
2. A good team to develop the project
3. Liquidity
4. Community support as you go along the way

You can't just create a token expect it to give you profits. The token has to fulfill the above requirements to survive in the long run.

Token creating is not a big project you can create bep-20 token in just $15 to $20. The main think is how you get profit, you have to invest lot of money for your tokens whitepaper, Roadmap, Tokenomics, partners, investors, holders, Liquidity, Listing, website + social media campaign etc.
Maybe its successful or flop, its totally up to your team and your investment.

It will cost you a fortune if you know nothing about coding and developing a coin you will hire a coin developer for this work and a website designer to showcase the coin features and you will need thousands of dollars more to get it in the exchange but before that, you will have to spend thousands of dollars marketing your coin, if you choose to do ICO you will have to form a team and be aware of the FUD if your coin do not have something to offer.

To save you a fortune and headache don't do it, even skilled developers are having a hard time doing it, what more with naive like you.

This is one of the reasons why so many shitcoins are flooding the market, they just want to have their own cash cow and they think if you create one people will buy and you will get rich right away, like all members here don't do it, you will just waste your money and people's time you have nothing to offer, you are not a developer school yourself first.

Just don't. Please. You are not creating anything that has value. Only thing you can do is to hire someone to create another generic token without any use case. I know it doesn't have an use case because you can't even create one and want instantly list it. And looking things from your side, you probably end up paying way more listing fees then you could scam from anyone that you tricked buying it.

There are already enough scammers in this scene and it doesn't sound like you can swim in those waters.

you are a newbie and you are referring to the issue of creating your own token this is possible but it has no value and this is a dead coin. If you are a newbie, you still don't really understand how to use, set up a wallet or store cryptocurrencies, how to buy and sell, you can find out on gg or learn on new tutorials. I recommend using your assets to invest in valuable and potential future coins like BTC instead of trying to create tokens that have no value at all.

He better not push his idea as high likely that it will just end up as crappy. It seems he is just looking for easy money here but it won't. He will find out that he will spend money at least a lil bit and he has no assurance if it will attract interest from traders. I guess, no one will help him as basically he doesn't even know where to look things that will help him in this endeavor.

If it is to have control of the currency without having experience, you are only going to lose money ...
Also, it is unlikely to get those investors you want without demonstrating a good token in development ...
You need whitepaper, roadmap, good tokenomics, partners, and website+.

None can help you, there are some tutorial on internet but it's not worth to try if you didn't have a background as a programmer. It's clear that if you have zero knowledge for that even you know if you can get some information from the internet. People will be marking your token as a scam or garbage tokens when it has no usefulness.
Just caused by the token that listed on exchange site can be sold for the money and then you wanna make another token to be the next money grabber token.
The cost to be listed on the exchange site may vary but some exchange sites were also charging a few million dollars for listing.
