Really nowadays it's really profitable to create your own coin.

Just put a recognizable name (for example "Pill Coin" or "DoctorCoin") and tell the people your coin is created in support of your project (start ICO immediately and get easy money from that source too) and the project is created for ... well I don't know, any deserving reason like health industry.

"Don't you wanna be healthy? 'fcause you want! Invest in my coin!" -- that's all. People start buying it (cus of associations) and you get rich.

Also +5 score is for stealing somebody's White Papers and code.

That's how the world goes today.

hello, I am creating an altcoin for students for understanding cryptocurrency, it will not be having any value for money.

just concept for understanding

i am thinking to implement
1> block explorer
2> mining pool
3> pc wallets

i am open to all sorts of ideas you may have and if anyone may want to help please let me know.

Idea is an interesting and useful. But it would be better to organize studying process with the coins which are exist yet. There is no problems to get some dollars and provide some crypto coins using it.

I don't see the point of this either. Can't you just create a coin in under a minute on Waves with a few clicks? But then if the coin has no identity of its own and no roadmap and nothing to make it stand out, there is no point to creating it. And I don't think students new to cryptocurrency need to know how to create coins, it's not a vital part for most people.

It's a great idea as a practice for courses about cryptocurrences. I think you should cooperate with open courses or some instructors, who have open lessons about this.
Have you already prepared all necessary documentation for starting this project?

yes preparing it, my students are helping me too

Education on blockchain is always a good idea. Do you have a road map of how exactly you want to do things or are you still figuring it out?

Do you plan to make it open-source and with good documentation? So that others with similar projects can use it too.

Coingenerators exist where they let you create a simple generic Litecoin clone for a few hundred dollars or less. You don't need any coding experience for this.

i have coding experience whated to teach something to my students
You can start by telling your students your name here  Roll Eyes

forking is way to complicated for them, i need to go to basics and keep it simple.
Forking is easier than creating an altcoin from the ground up.
How much time do you have to make your own block explorer, mining pool and pc wallets?

You could just explain the use of other cryptocurrencies that already exist, there is no point in creating a brand new altcoin as an example for someone to understand the idea behind it.
If you really insist in doing it just fork an existing coin of your choice and present it. There is a lot of work in implementing features.

i do not want to go full detail but for sake, i need to present some basic principals of the coin, ill do it for researching .

If want make the altcoin to give a knowledge for a lot of the students and that will be useful in= my opinion, my suggest you can try to keep in touch with the blockchain developers in the github, at least try to read what already wrote by them in github. If you are already had a lot of knowledge before and that will be so easy to do.

hello, I am creating an altcoin for students for understanding cryptocurrency, it will not be having any value for money.

i am sorry but i don't see any point in creating something like this.

you may not know this but every real cryptocurrency that is not a 100% copycat already has a TestNet. if you want to understand anything or help "students" understand cryptocurrencies then focus all your work on these TestNets. choose the coins you want and use their TestNet. you can mine it, you can get some coins for free, they don't have any value and it is best for testing and learning stuff.
