Have heard a lot about the exchange in subject shady and scam activities but the OP accusation is different and the exchange user are not the first to experience this situation because blockchain wallet users have make almost the same complain.
So we can never be sure if the exchange was behind what happened cause the source of the problem might be from the account owner since the account owner havent use his account for a long time.
To make a fair judgement here, i wont join the flag.

Supported the flag their thread was locked obviously they cannot defend their exchange, people should stop trading on this exchange and if you have funds try all you can to get it out there, it's only a matter of time before this exchange close if you become a victim, there's no one to blame for not doing your own research.
"Crex24" is known for their shady behaviour and scam activities. From that urgency last year i have created thread against them and jawhead999 already mentioned that on his post. Crex24 is so popular for listing scam ICO projects and they are continuously doing this for a long time. Crex24 official account has been tagged with clear references and you may missed that somehow. I don’t see any reason to trust them anymore.

This is really worst experience as a customer.Nothing is is safe in the world to store your funds excluding offline own personal wallet.Btw it's nothing new cex behave like this to their customers. If you lose any funds from Crex24 we are really sorrowful for that.I personally used Crex24 for couple more times to exchange some tokens but still not the bad experience for me.But I will aware of this.

Please share this post around to enable the community know the scam perpetrated by Crex24 exhange. Recently, I tried login into my account in the exchange and discovered that I couldn’t access my account. My further investigation showed that somehow some insider in the exchange had hacked into my account and changed the password. They drained my accounts of all my assets. All my BTC which were realized from trades gone.
I contacted the exchange and after some lame excuses they stopped responding to my emails. I tried doing a password reset and this has become impossible because I don’t get emails again from the exhange.
Now, my account has an OTP which is generated each time I log in new to my account. I discovered that I never received this OTP when the hacker compromised my account.
Exhanges have become the new scammers now, stealing from their users using all manners of fraudulent means. Crex24 is one of such scam exchange. Please avoid this exhange!
