However if they win the world cup then there will be no surprise. They have done it in 1992. Even in recent times in the champions trophy 2017 no one thought that they will win the cup but they did.

I am thinking of India but yet not 100% convinced.

Well, nice pick. That is an unpredictable team and can do huge thinks out of nothing. The current Pakistan Super League going on in Dubai is something that will help them find shining and aggressive plus cool players for the national team.

But, we have other strong teams like Australia and India and they have the highest probability of winning it keeping the history in the mind.

Well, nice pick. That is an unpredictable team and can do huge thinks out of nothing. The current Pakistan Super League going on in Dubai is something that will help them find shining and aggressive plus cool players for the national team.

It is one of the most spectacular performance from Sri Lanka as i never had a any expectation that they would win a session in the match let alone the entire match, West Indies initially gave a shock when they defeated England and now Sri Lanka playing good cricket to take the win, full props to be middle and the lower order players who contributed for the win especially Kusal Perera who single handedly took the team home safely with an wonderful century .

To be honest this is what cricket needs, it needs the lower ranked teams performing well and beating the top ranked teams. I would like to now see Sri Lanka go on and win the test series as that would be one of the biggest upsets in a very long time. Not even India have won a test series in South Africa yet so if Sri Lanka can pull it off then it would be huge for them.

The BCCI announced the team for the Australian tour of India and it is basically the same team we could expect for the world cup and with India winning in dominating fashion in Australia it is definite that India will win in dominating fashion in their home town without any doubt as the full strength Indian team is back in action and it is very difficult to face them in their own background and they can fix the team for the playing eleven and this is the last opportunity in my opinion.

Ok make sense to me now. Thanks eaLiTy and JSRAW. I am personally looking forward to the Australia tour of India series. India is very tough in their own soil. But conditions in England and conditions in India is totally different.

I haven't really followed PSL before but I have heard that it is highly unpredictable is it so?

It is hard to have a claim like this when it comes to cricket, T20 are really hard to predict but that is not the case in most of the cases in other format, if cricket is so unpredictable, how about as there is a possibility of a goal even at the last second, how about athletics, a false start can mess everything up, any thing is possible in every sport, so you cannot say cricket is the most unpredictable sport but if it is a close match, it will be an interesting encounter and the claim stands, but you wont be able to see those kind of matches too often.

If you analysis you can determine the winner by the 10 over of the 2nd innings and there are few games which go to the last ball. Nevertheless this form of cricket is more popular and interesting among all the three formats of cricket.

If you consider recent factors for Sri Lanka then the last test win was also a result of unpredictable cricket. No one thought that Sri Lanka was going to make it happen.
