Like I said in my previous post, Sri Lanka needs special psychological attention. They lost the track and possibly believe that they can win. From last several series they have not won any match at all which is a shame.

Such a shame, they were defeated as a team in all departments. Their performance getting worse day to day but seems like couldn't get picked up any clue to overcome and improve their innings. Looking forward Sri Lanka how hard they fight to win matches against South Africa. Will they come back really strong in South Africa as Dinesh Chadimal claiming.

Sri Lanka indeed needs some psychological therapy. I am looking at their recent stats for both ODI and test in espncricinfo. And this is what I found:

2 test with Ozs: 2 - 0 whitewash
Only T20 with NZ: Lost
3 ODI with NZ: Lost 3 - 0 whitewash
2 test with NZ: 2 - 0 whitewash

This team seriously needs some psychological attention.

Sri Lanka lost eventually. Australia won by 366 runs. The Sri Lankan could not even stand a chance in the 2nd innings. They lost all their wicket only to score 149. This is a bad tour for them.

About the T20 section, I thought to have a separate section for this format would be nice especially when the IPL will start.

SL will be highly demotivated the way they are playing the matches and losing it. Losing the match by 366 runs is a big margin and they where never close to match the OZ team. With this performance they will need to make many changes or boost their players to play and win the matches in the world cup.

Momentum plays a huge role in sports and right now India have it after the series win over Australia in all forms of the game they are high on confidence and that is why we are seeing the Indian team win big matches even though New Zealand bounced back in the 4th ODI. This Indian team reminds me of the Australian team of the 90's early 2000's they don't look like getting beat and no team fears them playing away from home. India in my opinion is the team to beat in this years World Cup and good luck to the teams that have to play them on home soil this year once the Indian summer starts.

Even after the completion of Indian innings I found the score to be easily beaten by the New Zealand as it is their home ground. Here in North Sound, England is betting in their 2nd innings and 8 for none after WI finished their first innings for 306 runs. England trail by 111 runs with 10 wickets remaining. I am not sure how long England will bat though.

I took the opportunity on 1st day and put some chips on WI to win , it's looking good .
Also took a risk and bet on draw in SL v AUS match with some spare bucks because the odds were too good and I still feel SL can put on some good score if they manage to get 2-3 good partnership going .

So Sri Lanka lost all wicket in their first wicket for 215 run. Good thing that I did not waste my time watching their innings you won Maady.
To absy, I don't think this match will have any chance for a draw anymore. Still two days to go and Sri Lanka needs 499 runs which is impossible.

Indian Middle lower order did exceptionally well today. I would like to see a couple of more matches like this before World cup, Where middle order steps up and perform in difficult situations. it would do lots of good for Middle order's confidence.

Dhoni failed as Batsman but We saw why he is a crucial member of this team. his run out of Neeshan was a crucial moment. Neeshan was looking really dangerous.

Final ODI between India vs NZ has begun and India was all out for 252 runs and NZ have started their inning with 21/1 in 5 overs. The match might make it more interesting if couple of quick wickets here will make it more tougher for NZ. Though India has already won this series but NZ will play for pride.
