They batted really well with the start Dhawan has provided it and capitalized it further by Pujara and bowled out SL quickly in 1st Inning. Played 2nd inning at good pace so that they can give SL a big total to chase and pressure was always on SL to defend against such big total in their home side.
Comprehensive victory for India. The spinners did the trick in the second innings, with Ashwin and Jadeja coming to the fore. Of course, the fact that Sri Lanka were looking at an almost impossible target did help.
