Once again Bangladesh top order collapse like house of cards . Can't believe they lost 4 wickets in the powerplay itself .Except Soumya Sarkar all the remaining played very poor shots to get out and now everything is in the hands of Mahmudullah and Shakib , we know what they both are capable of . I am expecting atleast 140-150+ runs otherwise this will be an one-sided match .
Australia are already in a dominate position thanks to a century from Warner which he scored before the lunch break and I believe he is only the 5th person to do it in test match history. However he went out on 113 runs not long after the break and Australia are currently 2/219 with Renshaw on 82 runs and looking like he will get a century and also Smith is batting and we all know what damage he can do. So Pakistan need to get some quick wickets or else they could be chasing a big 1st innings total of 500+ runs.

Australia have brought in another spinner as the SCG is normally a spinners pitch so it will be interesting to see if Australia go with 2 spinners in this test and maybe rest one of the fast bowlers. South Africa have a slight edge against Sri Lanka after day 1, finishing at 297/6. If they can add another 100+ runs, they will be able to put pressure on Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka must get de Kock early to have a chance in this test match.
Not slight edge,i will say South Africa are much ahead Sri Lanka in this test match as I dont think Sri lanks can score even 250 in their first innings as south african bowlers are too good in this home conditions and srilankan batsman are not able to cope with it.

Bangladesh vs Nz First T20 match will be held on tomorrow.After the Odi series NZ players are in full of confidence.BD players will want to fight back on T20.Mustafizur should be the key for Bangladesh.But Nz is a very tough team to deal with.Let's wait and see....

It is not entirely true as India has played matches and won in England and Australia and they have the best record outside the continent when you compare the teams in Asia and Pakistan is playing in neutral pitches in the UAE and was winning matches and so is the reason they are ranked higher .Every team is strong when they are playing in their home ground so there is nothing surprising about it.To be honest India have not won many matches in Australia only 5 test matches since they started playing in Australia in 1947/48 and like I said since that time they have only won 5 test matches which is poor. They have never won a test series in Australia where as Australia has won 4 test series playing in India with a few drawn test series as well. So I can see where some people are coming from when they say that Asian teams can't play well on fast pitches.

I think in this match SL batsman may come back to their form and bat well. If they fail again, this match also becomes one side match.
South Africa will be overwhelming favourites in this one. Teams from the sub-continent generally don't tour well. We have seen Pakistan collapsing in Australia, Bangladesh being white-washed by New Zealand and Sri Lanka losing the first test by a huge margin.

Ya it is true but even then Pakistan is not a constant team they are always giving surprise in the game, like in last test game they collapsed in second innings not able to chase the 200+ runs , that is why you cannot tell about pakistan players when they will choke.
Like how Asian teams are not able to play in fast pitches same Australia , england and other teams are not able to play in Asian Spin tracks they are also lossing the series. It only means that all teams are great in home grounds

This was a series which you could bet freely and win some money but during holidays who would be spending time for these 
missed the series all together and will be watching their T20 series starting next week. Just saw that we had some good cricket matches this week and missed some good bet lines.Mate the matches were very close, I was personally watching them on TV and don't follow the series score of 3-0 it was very close. In 2nd and third match there were time when Bangladesh were dominating but anyways they lack experience and composure.

The New Years Eve match between the Sydney Sixes and Adelaide Strikers was another entertaining New Years Eve game just like last years New Years Eve game. The scores were not that high but it was an entertaining match to watch and a match for the bowlers with the Strikers winning in the end easily. The Sixes had their chance and looked at 0/34 until they lost their first wicket and after that they just collapsed.
