It's finally here the Boxing Day test match between Australia and Pakistan. This is my favorite test match as I live in Melbourne and always look forward to the Boxing Day test match every year no matter who Australia is playing. This is going to be a great match and it will be interesting to see if Pakistan continue to fight like they did in their last test match which they came so close to winning. I personally think Australia will win only because they have an excellent record here just like they have in Brisbane and are very tough to beat.
Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat first and they already lost first two wickets just for 60 runs. Now they need to concentrate on building partnerships slowly instead of going for fast scoring. If Pakistan want to win this match then they have to put up good score in this first innings otherwise it will be quite difficult in second innings.

Australia bowling seems to be on top and they will require to pick up a couple of quick wickets so that they can bowl out them less then 225 and can get a good lead in 1st innings while they batting.

So like you said they might not survive under these conditions as I'm sure the Australian bowlers will bowl well in these conditions. South Africa is also playing very very careful against SL. I was having big expectations as both teams were playing differently against others before coming to face each other. SA near the end of first day 235 for 5 wickets is not something huge. Australia vs Pakistan that match also has uncertainties as almost 50 overs were played on day one game.
The Big Bash match was entertaining , although Hobart lost 2 quick wickets they played really well and managed to put up a big score of 188 on board but Melbourne played fantastic cricket and chased it amazingly . The first 10 overs were crucial for stars and they managed to score 100 runs in it which made it easy to score the remaining runs in the next 10 overs.
That was very poor bowling from Bangladesh.340+ is bigg total on this ground.Top order batsman failed to make decent score.Nz got early wickets which was very important for us.Mushfiqur is on injury, Bd is in a great problem.They have to back in form on 2nd Odi to level the series.May be Rubel will be added on squad in the next match.
The match was over when Bangladesh conceded this huge score. New Zealand managed to recover well, as they were 158/4 at one stage.
The margin of loss might be huge (77 runs), but Bangladesh haven't disgraced themselves.

That was the match between New Zealand and Bangladesh. Obviously, stunning victory for Kiwis by huge margin of 77 runs. It was worth my time to spend on this game to watch all the match. South Africa is playing in other test very well against Sri Lanka. I still am undecided to place but SA seems to be in good position from the start.
